Unfortunately I had to return it. I was really looking forward to pairing it up with my PS5. Monitor arrived with nothing but issues. Came with 7 dead pixels and noticeable light bleed. I'm usually a big supporter of all Samsung products including their phones and TVs but I came away very disappointed in their efforts in delivering a decent 4k monitor.

But hopefully just a bad monitor. Because the colors and display on this monitor are amazing just wish it lasted longer.

But After i bought this, i find problems. This monitor name include "IPS" But if you scroll down to the specification under the panel type, it show VA panel. Also this is not bright as my s2721dgf.

BACKLIGHT BLEED

Went to the store to exchange it for the same model to give it the benefit of the doubt. It literally had the same exact backlight bleed pattern in the same place. I had the same issue TWICE. It seems that the panel frame is tighter in some areas and it causes the backlight bleed. I paid good money for a product that displays white backlight spots during dark colors. UNACCEPTABLE Other than that everything else seemed good. I will exchange it for an LG tomorrow.

If you play any games that require you to go into any dark places you will be distracted by the back light bleed. It's really bad.

PS5 4K 120 not working. Beware.

I made sure the HDMI version was 2.1, that the inputs were in AV mode. It tried different ultra high speed hdmi cables that I know work. I own 2 new sony tvs with hdmi 2.1 ports and 4k 120 works great on those. Samsung Customer service was horrible. And for some reason there is a firmware update for this monitor in oter markets but not the US. I will be tring out the new acer nitro next as Samsung has now lost my tv purchases and now monitors.

Defective Monitor

When it worked, it looked great, although it’s a little dim in the brightness department. If you don’t game in a sunny room and want to take your chances with Samsung QA, you’ll probably love this monitor. I’m going to get something else after returning it.
