Great brand and monitor but im having glitchy problems with my alienware desktop brand new same as monitor. Alot of times the monitor will just pop up and say something is wrong with the connection. I either have to do a hard shut down or now i have a second monitor hooked up threw hdmi and i can use that monitor when the G7 dp inout gives me issues.

Here's the deal. This monitor is absolutely gorgeous, as far as picture quality goes. In fact, the color accuracy and shear clarity of this monitor is one of the best I've ever seen. However. There are two reasons I wound up returning the monitor. And while they're technically both personal preference. The latter should be something you consider in your decision. The first was simply screen size. Sitting as close as I do at my desk the extra vertical real estate and lack of curve to create the immersive peripheral feel lead me to moving my head to see things rather than keeping my eyes centered on the screen. This made being competitive in fps games a task. Definitely a situation due to my workspace. But something to keep in mind. The second thing is Samsung's push to make everything a smart device. Shoot, the initial setup for this monitor took nearly an hour because the app was being buggy on my phone. I'm sure having a built in OS on your monitor may be beneficial to some- but I see it as a huge flaw and another breaking point. I want a monitor to be simple. Waking the monitor is slow, changing settings is slow. The whole user interface is clunky and irritating. But the picture quality is fantastic. I will eventually but another one of these for creativity but for now, I prefer an ultrawide for gaming. Because my reasons for returning were personal preference, i wouldn't say I DON'T recommend it. Just make sure it's exactly what you want first.

I really loved this monitor initially and I still do but there have been a few hiccups I’ve noticed. One thing is I wish i would have kept the smaller version of this monitor. Playing my ps5 on this monitor sometimes the screen will flicker off and on. Thats super irritating. I have to go to the setting on the screen and my ps5 to adjust. Also, Sometimes I’ll turn my ps5 on and the screen won’t pop up. It will recognize that it’s a ps5 hooked up but it won’t display the screen. The only fix is I have to disconnect the power for a few mins and turn my ps5 off as well and then turn everything back on. That sucks. But overall I’ve enjoyed this monitor. I have noticed a difference in FPS with the short response time so that’s a plus. For this price I expected flawlessness and it didn’t deliver.

Crystal clear picture. Super responsive. Onboard sound quality is really nice. Setup is super simple. Once I turned it on, it took 10 minutes to get into play. My only complaint is that occasionally (once ever 5 -6 hours)during play, the screen blacks out for a 3-5 seconds, which can obviously be frustrating. I've never had this issue with any other HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort connected devices on this rig, so I'm pretty sure it's the display.

Nice monitor. Perfect for gaming, great picture quality, smooth video quality, beautiful contrast. The speaker on the monitor itself could be slightly better but I play with a headset most of the time anyway

Great picture and features, however the monitor sometimes loses detection of being plugged into its input source (my PC). I am hoping a new display port cord will fix this.

Great 4K, just wish it was a little bit cheaper. :)

Great picture for gaming. Only issue I’ve had with it is flickering upon powering on and loss of signal at times. Also didn’t come with a remote but that could be because I got it open box.

Smart features are great, but make it difficult to navigate for simple computer and gaming use. Quality picture as long as not using hdmi.

Love this monitor for the most part. Only complaint is that it forgets my xbox connection and doesn't remember 4k settings... I dont know if that's xbox related or the monitor.

I purchased an open box of this product. Pros - Easy set up Good blacks (it is not VA or OLED depth, but works well) Active Sync for both AMD and G-SYNC work easily. For CP2077, the DLSS 3.5 looks awesome (RTX-4070) It is a good all-round 4k IPS monitor that will not break the back. Cons - There is some bleeding when watching video with subtitle. Not a lot, but noticable in dark sceens. HDR is not so good for videos and bad for games, like CP2077.

Sooo glad i bought this last week because the 800$ sticker is a bit too much for what i wanted to spend ... got this for 656$ AFTER Tax super excited for it to come in the mail this week !!

It’s a great monitor. Great picture quality and features. The only gripe I have about it is that it does not have steam powered in the game hub. I am a steam gamer so that is a bummer for me. But if you like Xbox, Nvidia, Luna or Utomik then you can use that in the game hub and you’ll be happy.
