It has been working perfectly and I didn't pay extra money just so the card could say Nintendo on it.All you have to do is format it which is very easy because the switch will prompt you. This card is hanging up with the computer memory stuff and when I asked the salesperson for the micro sd cards he took me to the more expensive ones in another area. When I specifically asked for this one he showed me where it was. A word to the wise "Always check the website first" people seem to "forget" the sale items when you ask for help.

Card Does not perform as noted -slower write speed

I compared it to Sandisk Extreme 128Gb card, which I planned to replace with this, and it only performed marginally (a hair) better than the Sandisk. On the MAC I ran the AmorphousDiskMark (equivalent to CrystalDiskMark) and the Blackmagic Disk Speed test. The two were just about identical. The Sandisk claims 160/90MBps vs. Samsung 160/120Mbps. I was looking for the higher write speed. However, they both did approx. in the range of 91/81Mbps (see pics). So from a write speed perspective, the Sandisk was on the money, NOT the Samsung, even with its claim of Pro Plus. Disappointing with the Sandisk is quite a few years old and the Samsung was recently released. Sandisk is cheaper and has better write performance overall (in fact, the 256Gb Sandisk may be better?). I will get that tomorrow.
