Always stored in climate controlled home. Went to exchange told because one was exchanged purchased wrong size no warranty. Told Samsung wont because of exchamge. Left card with store.

Bad luck or poor quality control

Thank you for sharing your experience of capacity issues with your card and suspect that it may be fake.
Please know that it has come to our attention that counterfeit Samsung microSD cards are circulating in the open market, many of which corrupt files, show slow speeds and drastically reduced storage space, have short lifespans, or simply do not work. Some indications that the card is counterfeit is if it says, "Made in Taiwan" or "Made in China" on the back of the card, has a sticker of any sort on the card back, and if the card has a black border around the edges, it is definitely counterfeit.
I recommend that you please contact Best Buy directly.

Took video and pictures on a trip and now there is absolutely nothing on the card and nothing I have tried will let me even read this card. Now, if I am lucky, I get a "card error" when I put it into anything. Usually it isn't even recognized. I will never buy Samsung again.
