    Followed the instructions and placed everything in the correct location. Used wall mounts for the rear speakers. Everything worked perfectly and is the best system I've used. It works seamlessly with my Samsung QLED. Sound is excellent and we are very impressed.

    This sound bar is the best you can buy right now.with the new technology the sound is so immersive.it seems like a lot of money for a soundbar,but I promise you have never heard a better one. Worth every penny you will not Regret it.

    Faulty Subwoofer Random Disconnects

    This soundbar came with a faulty Subwoofer. Would disconnect every 20 seconds and reconnect. Updated firmware, tried multiple placements with no luck. Sound was thin and tinny even when subwoofer did work, seems very overhyped. My old Vizio from 2014 sounds better and deeper. Samsung return window is extremely short. They want to send a refurbished sub and want 5% restocking fee. At this price, very disappointing. Last Samsung product for me. I'm salty because I saved up for this overhyped soundbar and I'm now using my old Vizio that was $250 because it sounds better.

    Buggy. Really Buggy junk

    It is obvious to me now that these big companies control the reviews because this is easily the biggest piece of junk I’ve ever owned. It’s buggy. Super buggy. The voice recognition seems to randomly turn on. The sound bar keeps unpairing. The subwoofer keeps unpairing. When it is connected in HDMI mode, the sound falls way behind the TV sound. The sound itself is okay, but my Nakamichu system is SOOOOOO much better. Together with the buggy S90B, I doubt I’ll ever purchase a Samsung product again. It’s THAT bad.

      Hello Jeremy,

      Thank you for sharing your experiences with the new HW-Q990C Soundbar. I am sorry to see that your initial time with the unit has not been ideal.

      There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.

      First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

      Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device.

      Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

      To help with any audio sync issues, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Samsung TVs have a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can utilize this feature on your Samsung TV to correct your audio-sync issue.

      On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through. Alternatively you can set the Digital Audio Output Format to Auto.
