I paid the extra money for a product that would rattle my house if i wanted it to. This is not that product. It sounds good but i would have went with a cheaper or different product if i would have known what i was getting.

Sound quality is 5/5, build quality is 5/5, user friendly 5/5 totaly immersive sound that bangs to your buck. i was planning to buy sonos but when i hear this soundbar i totaly love it than the sonos.

Sounbar sounds great as well wireless surround speakers. My only gripe would be the length of the power cord for the wireless surround. If there isnt a plug where you place the speakers then you will have to tun an extention cord, same if you mount the speakers higher up on the wall.

I (with my hearing loss from working 50 years) can actually hear what they are saying in the movies!!! Finally, I can watch and enjoy tv shows, movies and everything. Bluetooth works perfectly and this system rocks....

Less powerful than I expected for a soundbar in this price range, which may be why that's the one spec I couldn't locate when researching the the Q930C. There is a learning curve to tuning the sound, for instance which features can be used in what modes. The overall sound quality is good, however, and the setup is coming along.

Thank you for purchasing the new HW-Q930C Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you are not fully satisfied with your Soundbar.
There are many ways to optimize the audio quality of your new Soundbar, improving your overall experience. First, make sure that you are using a new HDMI cable as this will offer the best audio and user experience.
When you press and HOLD the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear) for about 5 seconds you can adjust the 7-band EQ. Adjust the sound for each frequency band, 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
By pressing the SOUND MODE button you can select between Surround, Game Pro, Standard, or Adaptive Sound. Surround, Game Pro, and Adaptive Sound Modes will allow for more channels to be sent to your Soundbar giving an overall better experience.
Additionally, you can adjust different channels using the CH LEVEL button on your remote. Select Center level, Side level, Wide level, and Front Top level to adjust between -6/+6 using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote.
Alternatively, you can use your smart device (phone or tablet) to adjust your Soundbar using the SmartThings app.
To set up SmartThings follow the instructions below. Before connecting your mobile device to your Soundbar, ensure that the following requirements have been met first. Check your mobile device operating system, the SmartThings app is compatible with phones running Android 8.0 or higher, and iOS 12.0 or higher.
Connect your mobile device to the same network. Each device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. On your smartphone: Tap Settings > Connection > Wi-Fi > Select a router to connect to. Step 1. Turn on the Samsung Soundbar and launch the SmartThings app.
Step 2. When the pop-up appears showing your HW-Q800C Soundbar, tap Add Now. Or you can tap on the + button in the upper right corner and manually add the Soundbar.
Step 3. Tap Start.
Step 4. After following the on-screen instructions, select Location and Room for your Samsung Soundbar.
From here, you can access all of the same settings and adjustments that your provided Soundbar remote offers, from anywhere in your home. Adjusting your channels, EQ, or even volume without interrupting what you are watching on the fly.

The power cord plugs are an odd shape, hard to fit into the outlet of a kit made to hide soundbar power wiring behind a wall. Also the only input you can “lock in” is digital optical…if you use bluetooth or wifi, you must select it from the TV menu each time you turn it on. But the sound is great!

Well worth the money spent with crystal clear sound available inside the house. Youtube videos with surround sound with kids around is a experience for which the money is well worth spent for.

What a difference! I can hear the dialog much better and having the surround speakers just gives you that extra depth. Very glad I made the move, well worth it!
