But it keeps reverting back to the TV speaker or changes input sources randomly. It was installed by the Geek Squad and therefore I assume correctly. But it’s frustrating to have to reset it so often. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting but it still goes rogue every couple of days. I have considered returning it but when it’s connected (via HDMI cable TV e-Arc, it sounds great. Get your firmware fixed, Samsung.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q930C Soundbar. I understand your frustrations, please know that we are here and happy to help you.
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
You can download the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-Q930C under Q Series.
Download the update and install it via USB thumb stick to your soundbar. If you need additional help, there are how-to instructions on this page. Please know that Samsung Customer Service is here to assist as well.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Next, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

Tried several soundbars before I made the jump to this one, and instantly I knew this was a keeper. Dolby atmos is so immersive with this soundbar. Even with vaulted ceilings we’re able to enjoy the sound quality and directional sound effects Dolby atmos has to offer. Connections work great too.

Family and visitors thrilled with the movie like sound presence this Q-series model provides when coupled with our new 65 inch Samsung TV. Going from a small rear pointing TV speaker to a Dolby surround sound speaker system opened up a whole new world of home entertainment for us. Thank you Best Buy and bravo Samsung.

Feel I’m in a movie theater. When it comes to music paring with Samsung TV symphony just WOW like I’m listening to a live band! Money well spent! I have tried cheaper soundbar with different brand no comparison. Samsung Q930C well rated soundbar.

I’m blown away by how good it sounds. I find it hard to believe that you can find anything that sounds much better than this. The build quality is also really good and very premium. My one complaint is that the rear speaker cords are way too short.

We hear voices so much clearer now without the tinny sound of the TV speakers. We hear background sounds that we did not hear before. The rear speakers give our listening experience a surround sound effect! It has brought our TV time to a whole new and magical experience!
