10 Months In and I Still Love Them?

I'd been using Apple Airpods for years, even after moving to a Samsung phone at the Galaxy 7 series. With Airpods, I was lucky if I made it 6 months before needing another pair; at least one ear would inevitably go wonky after a while. (Let's be real, hard to expect otherwise when the audio outport portion is directly affected by earwax and environmental stuff like dust or dirt if dropped, etc.) The main reason I stick with Apple was the treble vs. bass balance, since most other brands over-favor bass, in my opinion, especially given my genre tendencies. But after almost a full year of using the same pair of these Samsung earbuds, I can safely say I'm in love. The sound quality and balance is excellent, the sound cancelling is excellent (especially for the price), and the durability is excellent. Just pop off the cover pieces--which come in multiple sizes, thank goodness, given my evidently small earholes lol--and run a bit of tissue or a toothpick over it to get like-new performance. Hard to deny any pair of earbuds that remains as good 10 months later as they were when I opened them... If I had any complaint, it's that they tend to loosen and threaten falling out when I'm moving my jaw (ie, eating--small earholes are a surprisingly big first-world problem these days, evidently), but otherwise, pretty darn awesome. This is a financially and sonically excellent choice. I'm not saying there aren't better earbuds and headphones out there, but I am saying it's hard to beat these for durability and quality at this price. Strongly recommend.

Pros....ambient settings/noise canceling and muted wind is definite upgrade from Icon x buds.... Speaking with ambient "on" lowers volume of playback to designated delay is nice upgrade Built in screens on tips is nice/less maintenance required Smaller and more comfortable but..... Cons.. Haven't found correct fit yet(they fall out of ear easily) after 2 weeks of changing different tips volume control swipe on buds is gone /definite drawback on bud pro....

As a audiophile who uses and buys headphones ranging from beats studio wireless 3 to Sony's latest noise canceling headphones it's very important for me to have an amazing sound quality. So when I needed something for my workouts and a little more transportable I decided to get wireless earbuds. I use to own a pair of airpods series 2 but for my ear shape it didn't really ever fit right and my ears were always in discomfort, that's not all one earbud always played at a lower volume than the other and the opposite ear bud always drained battery faster than the one. So when I was deciding on which items to purchase airpods pro or galaxy buds pro I was a bit hesitant to decide which ones I wanted. Everyone has airpods pro and people make it seem great to own a pair and I have even gotten a chance to try them from one of my friends and the noise canceling was amazing, that being said I didn't want to spend $250 to have the same malfunctioning earbuds problems. I Ultimately decided to get the galaxy buds pro which were $50 cheaper. Now having some experience with them they are really really good. The updated noise canceling has improved tremendously (if you have the right fit) and the 360 audio was a nice touch. The only issue for many people me included is the fit. They feel very secure even during my cardio workouts (I'm a runner) but they are just a little too tight for my outer ear and it becomes irritable for after awhile. That being said once you use ANY earbuds that may seem to big or discomforting over time your ear adjusts so most of the irriation will leave within a few weeks. Other than that it was worth the $200. (They have a better sounding bass and the airpods pro and sound quality)

These earbuds are very stylish and gives off great sound. They are also comfortable once you get them in your ears. They stay charged for hours and extremely reliable and durable as I have dropped them and stepped on them a couple of times. There have been times where they have fallen out of my ear so you have to secure them in there snug as a bug in a rug.

I definitely am a fan of these headphones but there are things I would definitely change or improve. The touch controls are kinda all over the place. Either they're SUPER sensitive or barely responsive. Sometimes I have to tap them several times to get the song to pause then other times I tap them once and it skips ahead 2 or 3 songs. I do appreciate the ability to disable touch controls so it's not that big of a deal. They also fit oddly sometimes. I think it's because the actual piece that goes into the ear is oval instead of round. Like they'll work themselves halfway out of my ear then just kinda sit there until I readjust them. Besides all that they work amazingly. No connection issues, sound is great and noise cancelling works well (not as great as some other earbuds but it's still good). If the things I mentioned here aren't a deal breaker I'd definitely recommend these.

Connects great to multiple devices. Sound is excellent, once you insert them properly. Picks up voice well on phone calls. Noise canceling is decent. Battery life is good and Fit is comfortable. Only complaint is the touch controls are a little unreliable. Minor issue for me. I would buy them again.

    Great True Wireless Earbuds!

The Galaxy Buds Pro True Wireless Earbuds are a very well-executed product with an excellent combination of hardware and software that is very well integrated. Not only that the features are well executed on the software side and the hardware stands out with excellent form and fit topped off with a great sound stage. I have many Bluetooth headsets of all types and forms and these Galaxy Pro True Wireless Earbuds are at the top of the pack in many aspects. Starting off the fact that they are integrated into the Galaxy Wear suite with my Galaxy S3 Frontier Smartwatch is a wise move that simplifies and integrates your Galaxy phone very well with its counterparts developing a seamless system without losing any software features as well as providing a quality execution of the features. First of all the Galaxy Buds Pro Voice recognition feature is top-notch. It enables you to be listening to or viewing media and when it hears your voice it mutes the sound level down very low so you can comfortably carry on a conversation with someone. Then it automatically unmutes after 10 seconds of not hearing your voice. A second feature that I do have on some of my other headsets is ambient sound. However, the Galaxy Buds Pro headset lets you control the level extensively and works so well that I find myself having to turn it down at times. The touch controls for controlling media playback and answering and ending phone calls also work well and can be turned off in settings if you find yourself accidentally touching them enough to annoy you or you would just prefer using your phone or watch to control them instead. My experience with phone calls has been very good as well with crystal clear conversations. This brings me to the sound quality aspect of this headset it is top-notch however there are a few things to note here. First, the absolute best sound is with the equalizer set to normal, active noise canceling on and set to low. However, the sound quality in ambient noise mode is very good as well which I prefer to use at about the 75% mark while out and around others when I want to be able to hear my surroundings. You have the ambient sound slider under the noise control bar in the settings and then under advanced, there is a maximize ambient sound to further boost the ambient sound which is when it can get annoying at times unless you have significant hearing loss then they serve as somewhat of a hearing aid. There is also a setting to turn on or off notifications that just simply states what type of notification you received like email for example or text message or it will read the full content out with this option available in Alarm, Email, Incoming call, Messages and Missed Call. It also includes an option of whether or not you want them read while your in a phone call which I can not see that being preferable personally. In conclusion, I would say I am very impressed with Samsungs execution with the Galaxy Buds Pro. My impression is that while other headsets have some of the same features that I have none of them have the amount or range of control found within the settings of the Wear app. Samsung seems to have put a lot of effort into getting these right. The one thing I did notice is that when I had them at full volume while using YouTube Music they would cut the volume back automatically when a song was hitting a high point like a singer topping out their vocal range. I did not find a way to turn this apparent safety feature off however it did not ever happen with the sound one notch down from full volume. Samsung to me really put forth the effort to make this headset worth the purchase price in my opinion. They have outstanding clarity and range in sound but I did find they can get bottomed out in some songs with a lot of bass even with the equalizer set to normal but only while at full volume with my phone’s Dolby sound setting turned on. Once again this was only while at full volume. I would highly recommend this headset to anyone that can afford the price. They are also getting included in some of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 phone package deals as well I believe so you could possibly go that route and obtain a set at a great value. Whatever route you choose to take I believe you will be very impressed with the Galaxy Buds Pro. You can tell a lot of effort went into every aspect of their production and I do not see anyone that attains a set being disappointed with their choice!

Great product. Unless your dog eats them they are virtually indestructible. I have ran them through the washer and dryer twice. I was nervous when I put them in but both times I popped them in my ear and was excited to hear they sounded just as good as the sounded fresh out of the box. The sound quality is amazing easy to use and I slept with them in on many occasions. They batteries last forever I work a 12 hour shift and have them on for just about the whole time and they start cutting off towards the end a little. I just pop one in the charger and use the other one for a little after I get the warning beeps and by the time It dies the other one is charged enough to get me home. I could keep flip flopping them If I wanted but I am usually home by then and just charge them up for the next day. The greatest feature for me is I never leave my phone at home anymore. I can usually make it up one flight of stairs out my front door and start pulling away before the finally lose connection. I dont really know what else to say. Oh just pay the extra and get the replacement plan in case your dog eats your earbuds. You just bring them back and get new ones. I cannot live without mine.

Very decent sound and comfort from these. This is what I would expect from Samsung. The case and battery life is amazing. Better than my old buds. Now the one issue is, if you use these when riding a motorcycle. They can and will vibrate out of your ears. It's quite annoying.

I received these the pother day and opened them right up as I wanted to try them with my new phone. They come in a nice charging case and were already charged and ready to go. The minute you open the case they want to pair with your phone and work well with the Samsung Gear App. you use the gear app to set ANC and adjust the tone you want like more bass. They come with med tips attached and large and small are in a box with the charging cable. I have seen other reviews that say they fall out of your ears but not true if you put them in correctly. I have had no issues using them when exercising or moving around and they are IPX7 rated..

The Samsung Galaxy Buds pro have outstanding sound and are very comfortable to wear — once you get used to them. I have several truly wireless earbuds from a variety of manufacturers and I must say these rank pretty high on the list. The Good: - Setup was very simple, despite some totally blank instruction pages (see pictures) - Noise cancellation is the best I’ve experienced. - Once adjusted, these are very comfortable for easy listening, working out - pretty much any setting - USB-C charge cable is a HUGE plus for me; compatibility!! - Fast charge and recharge - Compact, sturdy case* The Not-So-Good - Instructions were completely blank; someone without comfort with new tech might be put off by this. - Software required for full functionality which locks you to Android (I couldn’t manage to use all features on my computer, for example) - *The case is sturdy but the way it opens makes it difficult to purchase a “case” with a carabiner for latching on to my bag or belt loop The Verdict: Outstanding sound and noise cancellation. Great/adjustable fit. USB-C charging … lots of features. The pros outweigh the cons and I would recommend.

Coming from the SkullCandy Indy XT ANC, these were a sizable upgrade. For one, these are much more comfortable to wear and the ANC is a bit more effective. The sound quality is better of course since I'm spending more money here (if it wasn't, then we'd have a problem). Well, in short, solid earbuds. Just be sure not to ramp the volume up too high.

I wanted earbuds for when I'm running or at the gym and this was a great choice! The noise cancellation is superb and I can barely hear myself talk while wearing them. The volume of these earbuds can get really loud and the bass is amazing too. A week after I bought them I noticed that the volume was significantly lower. I checked my phone to make sure the volume was at Max and it was, but the earbuds were still quiet. I figured out that the earbud volume is controlled separately from the volume of your phone. I downloaded the Galaxy Wearable app was able to adjust the volume settings, and now I can turn the volume up/down by holding my finger down on the right/left earbud. I hope this review was helpful!

I was really excited to order and receive these ear buds but..... unfortunately I'm going to have to return them as they just wouldn't fit my ears regardless of which ear tips I tried. They just never felt secure. Even once or twice one would just pop out of my ear without the feeling of it getting loose. Then you would play/pause, skip tracks etc. while constantly adjusting them trying to get them secure. With that said they have a nice quality overall. The case is nice and compact, the audio, and microphone performance was good. The ANC was just okay even with the latest update which was supposed to improve it. I wouldn't recommend these if ANC is really important or one of the main reasons to buy. Maybe another update could further improve that but nothing game changing after the first update. Sound quality was better in my opinion compared to the Jabra 75t actives with a much cleaner sound. I did order the Bose quitecomfort earbuds after these to try another option and honestly I was blown away by the audio, AMAZING ANC!!!!, and call quality. They are ugly due to their size and the case is really chunky but luckily living in a city I normally have my backpack to throw crap in so the case size doesn't bother me. I'll be keeping these over the Galaxy bud pro. I would give the galaxy bud pros a 4/4.5 if they would stay in my ears. Now that their are more reviews for these it seems like I'm not the only one who had a problem with the fit. Seems like they should have kept the ear wing/fin similar to the bud +. I hope this helps with your purchase decisions!

Pretty much in love with this upgrade from the original Galaxy Buds. Love the ability to switch from noise canceling, to standard audio, to ambient sound. My only couple of gripes with the pros so far, is the change in shape and the lack of notification options from the original headphones. I understand that the new shape is to fit more comfortably in the ear canal. However for someone with smaller ear canals, such as myself. They're very uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Even with the smallest rubber fits, they're still quite awkward for my ears. Finally my biggest gripe with the pros is the lack of notification options. I have a feeling it's because they're probably more tailored to a Galaxy or Samsung phone, but the interaction for my LG V20 is very limited. I used to rely on notifications from my old Galaxy buds for my Message+ app, but it's not in the list of apps that I can receive notifications from. In fact the only app that is there is the most basic "Messaging" app built into my phone. If there was an update or a patch to this then I would give the overalll rating 5 stars easy. Neither of these things would make me rethink buying the headphones, because overall they're still fantastic. The battery life upgrade alone would be enough for me to reccommend these from the old ones.

In about 3 weeks I went through 3 other types of ear pieces before trying these. These work well together or by using one at a time. They have a longer charge than i expected. Sound is amazing. Downsides are they only connect to one device at a time. So if im watching my pad i cant answer a call automatically. And secondly the ear buds do fall out occasionally because even the smallest rubber pieces are still a bit to big for my ears, so i dont get a really secure fit. So far ive been able to retieve it when it falls out but i would like to be able to get a better fit.

The sound quality is pretty good and about what you would expect from bluetooth earbuds these days. The mid-bass is a bit bloated but otherwise inoffensive. The auto ambient passthrough when it detects that you are speaking is a very useful feature. It activates reliably and you can set how long you would like it to stay active. The active noise cancelation also works well and and doesn't change the sound quality. This is definitely the most compact set of wireless earbuds that I have tried when measured by both the size of the case and the buds themselves. They sit just about flush in my ears and stay put when moving about. Overall good for casual listening on the go and great for watching videos as they do not exhibit any audio sync issues.

Very good headphones with pretty good sound quality. The features come in handy, especially when your at work, working out, or just doing some house chores. Battery life isn't bad, and they charge fast. My only con is that these aren't made for small ears, if you have small ears like me, some readjusting or slip outs will be more common. Changing to the small tips help, but the overall headphones are just a tad bit too bulky for my ears, may not be a problem for some but definitely a notable concern if u have small ears.
