Because Samsung design this works great with the see-through window and is very protective for the screen.

A well-manufactured cover. It has a beautiful design. It looks smart and it feels light. Suitable for carrying the phone in coat / jacket pocket. It protects both front and back of the phone well. When the cover is closed, it provides access to the phone through the transparent window.

This is a great case. Easy to use, clip you phone on and it recognizes the case. The only issue I have is when I get it out of my pocket or a bag I sometimes trip the flashlight function, blinding myself, lol. The window on the case allows you to access some of this functions without opening it which is great...except when you blind yourself

Good protection. Light and easy access to screen. Only drawback the cover scratches easily. For the price, a better quality material should be used to prevent that.

I bought this for my dad, because he kept dropping his phone and cracking his screen and would have to pay for a new screen. Well he has had it for a little while now and I'm proud to say he has dropped his phone a few times but his phone still looks good!

The hard cover of the case covers well, it covers the long edges of the phone as well as the corners. The top and bottom edges are open but that should be OK. like the S View screen. I can see incoming calls and answer them without opening the case. You can also see the time, take a pic, make a call...without opening the case. Opening the case wakes up the phone, and closing it puts it into the S View screen mode.

The price in this item was cheaper online, the cover does a great job of protecting the phone without buying some other type of protection for the screen. I was worried about having the rounded screen but have gone for over a month without any issues. Does not add a lot of bulk and just insert without removing anything off the phone, newer phones are sealed without removable back.

I bought this one because I wanted to protect my s7 edge screen because there is no tempered glass screen protector for the phone due to the curves. It's built well and seems to be officially made from Samsung. It is functional and is what I'm looking for. I do think it's a bit pricey. It should be around $20-$25. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase.

I give this 4 stars because I felt like it could have been cheaper. However I must say that I like the ability to talk and control features without opening the case. The case is very sturdy and what is really cool is that you can use it as a stand. You can answer the phone through the clear screen and you can mute your call or activate the speaker all without opening the case. The clear screen on the case somehow interacts with your phone and the phone knows when the case is open or close. I'm glad that I bought this despite the cost.

This type of case keeps getting better. Great form factor, great functionality. Some cons: the window easily smudges, doesn't protect the phone as much as I'd like, cumbersome to hold when taking "regular" pictures (as opposed to the S-View pictures), and of course, very expensive. Still, it's the best case I've ever used.

This Samsung 7 edge phone cover provides adequate protection for the screen against scratches and bumps. It has a very nice look and sleek feel. It's lightweight and fits perfectly into a small purse or bag without being bulky. The card holder sleeve is highly functional. The price was very reasonable compared to similar case styles.

After using several cases i picked this one. It doest push my glass screen protector up. It provides protection even though its slim, feels good in your hands. When talking you can close the cover and talk through it. The cover open helps balance and steady the phone when typing or looking things up. Looks great, works really well.

I read reviews on this item, before deciding to buy this. I believe I was more worried about the front of the phone, more than anything. When I bought the S7 Edge T-Mobile themselves mentioned that people broke their phones, thee exact moment they opened up their packages for the phone shipment. I did research and thought, this item was local at my Best Buy...but I WILL NOT turn the phone on or take it out the house until it's protected. It's a good case, but I believe...it caters to women better. Women have purses, stuff this phone with it's case in your purse. With us men having wallet, keys and phone....it's a little difficult to keep in your pocket. Overall is it this the best possible case, YES. Is it annoying when taking pics or recording, YES. Will "any case" guarantee protection of your phone's front screen, NO.

I was against flip cover because you can not mount it on your car easily. But if you don't need to do that, this is a great cover for your phone. The window is useful and protect the phone really good. Material that used is pretty good. Recommend it

I had a flip case with my last phone and while it takes some getting used to, you grow to like it. This case is a solid choice for the Samsung Edge, a little extra protection, and the functions made available through the front window.
