It separates from individual other pieces and nicely exposes the items to the water flow inside for better cleaning than any other unit. It runs so quiet you have to put your hand on the door to feel for vibrations to know it in the cleaning/washing processes.

My one criticism is that I would prefer a pre-set wash cycle that is better for people like me who "wash" their dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher.

So far I have yet to have this occur and have loved the it. The three racks are great. My only complaint is that the tines on the bottom rack are a bit tightly spaced making it difficult to fit bowls and some plates without them being really close.

I was excited for the stormwash setting, which cleans very well, however the dishes do not dry as well and come out very wet even after the air dry. Overall, very pleased with appliance.
