The controls are inside the door on top to keep little hands from playing with the controls. When cycle is finished, the door automatically open!!! What a surprise!!! Love it.

If I wasn't able to fix it myself it would have cost hundreds to repair. I'd be more patient but I bought four Samsung appliances for my kitchen and three broke right after their warranties ended. Buyer beware.

I love how it pops open at the end of the cycle. This might be a problem if there are small children in the house as they could pull the door open and get hurt.

I am in love with this thing; it's silent, it washes incredibly, it holds at least 5 days worth of dishes with ease. Cannot stress enough how awesome this dishwasher is.

Not sure if I like the idea that the door comes open about 5 minutes before cycle is done, but they say that you can change that setting if you would like.
