This thing is awful. We bought it based on consumer reports ratings and that was a fail this time around. The dish racking system on the bottom is terrible and the top “3rd rack” does not really work very well. And it really does a terrible job drying plastics. That said I could deal with those issues. But these dishwashers are prone to an “LC” error that disables the dishwasher. It is a leak error where if a very very small amount of moisture collects below the unit it will disable the dishwasher. The only way to resolve the issue is to uninstall the dishwasher, place it on its side remove the bottom panel and wipe what is less water than condenses on the outside of a glass of ice water. We have had this occur twice in the past month. Move along and don’t buy a Samsung.

This is without a doubt the worst dishwasher I have ever purchased!!! #1Smells like a cesspool no matter what you do to remedy the problem .#2 does not clean well at all.#3 The stainless finish is terrible, I have all stainless steel appliances and they are easy to maintain compared to this. Those are the top 3 reasons that lead me to write this review and I have researched these issues online and found they are pretty common.

I like the looks, I like the stye. Little pricey hoping it was a good buy, time will tell.

I haven't figured out the set up yet. I am not able to fit as much in this dishwasher as my past ones. Dishes dont seem clean unless you run it on hot temp or for a very long cycle.

My new dishwasher is very frustrating. I don't appreciate having to hand dry my dishes.

After a few uses, I still have some slightly dirty dishes. Somewhat of a small top rack.

The unit is very tight on the inside, very hard to load/stack dishes. Looks great!

This dishwasher stopped working after two weeks. It intermittently cuts in and out. Everytime the repair man shows up it decides to work. Because of the holidays, we can't get this repaired until the 10th of January.

Good washing machine but the middle rack has to line up perfectly in order shut

I have not yet used the dishwasher but looking forward to many uses in the future.

After 6 months unit stopped draining correctly. The dishes remained dirty with dirty water inside. Unit filter taken out and cleaned (wasn't anything in it anyway.) Drain hose check, sink drain check, everything else you can think of or search for online to fix and I checked. I left the drain hose on the floor spilling water everywhere but I turned the unit ON, filled with water and hit drain. Even with the hose ON MY KITCHEN FLOOR the water came out slow and in a dribble. Currently fighting with Samsung to repair/replace unit.

While it did a decent job washing the dishes, there are a few flaws. The top buttons were hard to press down and stopped working completely. The two utensil compartments are detachable nut do not stick to the wall front of the dishwasher. I wouldn't recommend this particular model, returned and bought another brand.

The 3 rack system is nice but the dishes don't come as clean as I like.

Like “NOtoSAMSUNG”, I also upgraded my entire kitchen and laundry room with SAMSUNG appliances in 12/2017. My last dishwasher was a Whirlpool and gave no major issues and last 7+ years, so I saw no reason to add an extended warranty plan through BestBuy. I actually purchased a 5-year extended plan on my Samsung Fridge, Washer and Dryer, but opted out on the plan for the Microwave, Stove and Dishwasher. Now, like many others, my dishwater will not turn on even after following their advice (https://bit.ly/2OKF2Dh) from their site. Based on the previous comments, it appears that there is a power issue of some sort with this particular model that should be addressed/repaired (via recall) even after warranty. Very disappointed in Samsung.

for the price, i expected more. soap dispenser opens about half the time. dishwasher does not dry the dishes/glasses sufficiently. high price for below average results. It takes a long time for the cycle to run, but it is very quiet

I love how quiet this dishwasher is, however, dishes come out greasy and dirty. I purchased an open box item. I will be returning this. Hopefully, it is bad due to the fact that it was an open box machine.

Dont like the silverware washing part, it leaves food still on items.

Of course, AFTER, the warranty period ended (one year) this problem comes up about every 4-6 months: The dishwasher thinks it has a leak and ceases to function. To fix this problem, I must remove the dishwasher, put it on it's side, remove the bottom panel, wipe away whatever drops (if any) of water is there, leave open over night for the sensor to not "feel" water (which is probably a drop of condensation), put it all back together the next morning. This usually is enough to get it working again. It is absolutely something that should not have to happen. I have a SAMSUNG suite of appliances in the kitchen and I will never do that again as I have had some problem with ALL of them.

In my opinion it make to much noise... but it work great
