Would not purchase again. Issues with drainage and odor. Called samsung and could not get them to do any warranty work as they could not verify my purchase through Best Buy although I provided a receipt. This was a year after purchase.

Does not clean, has horrible odor! Hate it. Purchased all new Samsung appliances, this dishwasher was a middle priceline. My 10 year old dishwasher at our old home cleaned 100% better. Called Samsung, they said to try this, this and that. To no help. And of course I've had them 90 days now and store will not do anything. Do not buy.

I've had this thing for over two years and fought with the rubber flap issue (google it and be amazed) with no support from Samsung every time I have called. They just play stupid. Today I gave it one last shot and called to see what they had to say since there are so many reports of this issue.. Nothing. Nope. Not a hint of a solution. They just wanted me to buy another kick panel and install kit and see if that worked for me. To top this off, the Samsung Microwave I bought at the same time as this unit, (along with a very expensive fridge and stove) has died. I've never had a Microwave die in 2 years, but I went the cheap route and bought another of the same one so the kitchen will match. Next thing that happens and all this stuff is going to the dump and I'm switching brands. I will never buy another Samsung electronics device either, they clearly don't care about the customer and just want to sell you another product.

No doubt this machine is a good looking one and seemed to be an easy use, But I blame myself for not reading more reviews before buying. unfortunately, this Samsung model is just poorly designed to the point where I don't know how to describe the issue. The machine was delivered on October 9th, 2018 so we have had it for 40 days from the time of purchase and I cannot call upon Best buy for a return or replacement because of the 30days policy. I am so disappointed with Samsung products, for being poorly designed. Please do your research properly, because instead of doing that, I was looking for convenience for my family to be able to have an easy to use Dishwasher Since my oldest is 10 years old and learning how to load dishes but this is just a disappointment. I can tell you for sure this is poorly designed and not worth the your money and time Considering how much money and time you will loose trying to get a technician to come and fix the issue.

I've had dishwashers pretty much my entire adult life. This one is pretty and all but does not perform as it should for the price. Extremely disappointing, I wish I read the reviews before I bought, I'm usually pretty good about this, what a waste of money. Any time the dishwasher requires you to use rinse aid to dry shows its not capable of performing. I'm not buying rinse aid, that's absurd and who knows the effects on water systems or ourselves for potential trace consumption. I've had a lot of experience with dishwashers and never required a rinse aid, every time my dishes come out they are soaked. So frustrated and disappointed in Samsung. I've recently had the same poor quality experiences with phones and TVs, I don't know what I was thinking to go to Samsung again. Bad decision.

I've had my Samsung dishwasher for a year. The dishes have a wet dog smell after every wash. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. When you call to get it exchanged or returned, they send out the geek squad people and they don't have any way to fix the issue with the smell. Consider yourself warned!

Dishwasher takes an awfully long time to run its cycle. also can't seem to get dishes, bowls and odd shaped items, (i.e. pots and pans) in dishwasher at same time without re-arranging things multiple times to fit properly. Top (3rd) rack is useless to us, great for putting utensils on but always forget they are there so they go thru multiple cycles. Have run about 12-15 loads thru so far and every load needs to be hand dried...the "door popping open to release the steam" option sucks...dishes don't dry and the door is ajar exposing clean dishes to the outside air (sucks when you turn the dishwasher on when leaving the house). Cannot tilt coffee cups enough on rack so water doesn't accumulate on top of the bottom of the cups. Completely dissatisfied and would not have a problem kicking this to the curb after 2 months and going back to a GE dishwasher.

I loved this dishwasher the first two years until the top control panel went out. Samsung did honor their warranty even though it was out of warranty. Not bad on their part. Had a repair person replace the control panel. However, now it fills up and won't wash. Had a Samsung service person out to replace the motor. Still doesn't work. Now it's 3 weeks and still have a broken dishwasher. I was even going to hire my own repair service company but the two reputable companies I called said they don't work on Samsung. Please, when reading reviews, look to see how long they've had the appliance. Most appliances five star ratings are on new machines. I would have given it 5 stars when I first got it. Now, mine is 2 years old and looks like it's going in the trash. Very frustrating.

The third/ top rack, means plates can only fit on an angle in one spot. I am one adult w one toddler and this thing fills up like a half / sized apartment dishwasher would, because you lose so much space with the third rack. So you have to weigh how much you would use it. I recommend going in person to see it. the biggest problem I have is this HUGE rubber flap that sticks out the bottom, that has to be CONSTANTLY tucked in. If you have kids or pets, they will obsess over it and you will ask yourself why you have to unscrew the kick plate and lay on the floor every few days to put it back. Spend more money on one without the flap.

We bought Samsung French door refrigerator and stainless dishwasher - both are terrible terrible products. There is a class action lawsuit against the refrigerator - look it up! We will NEVER AGAIN purchase any Samsung appliance. the dishwasher continually smells (and I am one of the cleanest people on the planet)! Filth accumulates underneath the bottom inside door and you cannot clean it except manually - poor design. The refrigerator continually freezes up and does not produce ice - you have to manually DE-ICE the icemaker. TERRIBLE company! Buyer beware!

worked good for 3 years when it dont leak it works great the sump is a bad design the heat made the sump deform and the sumps are no longer available

I liked this dishwasher while it worked for about 6 weeks. Now the lc leak code of doom has struck. I will be asking for a refund as it appears there is no real fix from what I’m reading. Too bad

Would not recommend this unit we’ve had nothing but problems out of it. The sensors keep going out.

New dishwasher is allways broke. I have spent over $600 in repairs. will not wash more than three loads without repair

This dishwasher is awful design. Continual LC code which requires turning off breaker to dishwasher, pulling it out, drying the pan, and then it happenes again, randomly. Piece of $700 junk. Lower rack cant even stand up normal size dinner plates without hitting the arm. Never did get a service tech out during initial Samsung warranty as they were going to send someone from many miles away and I'dhave to take time off work!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! Read all the similar reviews and stay away from this dishwasher

I bought my dishwasher the last day of April. It stopped washing TWO WEEKS AGO! It was passed the 15 days at Best Buy, so that was no help. I called Samsung and they told me that it was installed wrong and they can send someone out to check it, but if it was installed wrong, we'd have to pay for their guy to come out and then pay for it to be installed properly by someone else. I will never buy anything from Best Buy or Samsung again!

Purchased this dishwasher back in 2017. Did a good job, but starting January 2018, it has thrown the LC error. I have had Geek squad out to fix back then, Just the other day it threw the same code. It was supposedly fixed and then less than 10hour after the tech left it threw the same code again. This product is bad. Maybe i got a dishwasher from a bad batch who knows, but i would not purchase another dishwasher because of this inferior product. Samsung should be a shamed of producing such a bad product.

Purchased this on 11/25 and about 1 week ago it started to fail. The drain pump will not stop and kept displaying a LC error code. It's a beautiful dishwasher but I was not expecting it to have issues this soon. Returned it for a Bosch 800 series. By the way kudos to Best buy customer service department. The store, not so much. The so called appliance person at the store said that I was not allowed to return it at the store.

We have only had this a few weeks, but every time we run it the soap isn't dispensing correctly and the dishes aren't clean. We had a tech come back out and he said everything looked good and gave some suggestions on what levels to run it on. Ran a load this morning, soap was all on the inside of the door, dishes still dirty. Ran rinse cycle, still not clean. I am now rerunning the load again and will still probably have to hand wash the dishes. I will be going back today to return it.

We have not owned this very long. We had major repairs 6 months ago, and it is not working again. Apparently the false LC code is a "known issue" that a lot of people have posted on the internet. They fixed it at no charge last time as a "one-time exception" after I spent hours on the phone escalating to managers. It took weeks to get the parts and service completed. I doubt I will buy a Samsung anything again...
