for what I paid, can't get much better

Is only 60hz, but I already have the ridiculously expensive one for gaming, so is nice to have a second monitor the same size to have next to it. For $100, can't imagine a better monitor. Samsung is quality, and even though the controls take a little getting used to (ie, lots of PRESSNGUESS until you figure it out, bc who reads instructions), I like this screen a lot.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 3 of these monitors to use on my work computer so they needed to be mounted on a 3 monitor stand. Samsung provides all the screws required and there are mounting holes. The problem appears when you try to mount the monitor. the part of the monitor that attaches to the included stand, is too big and the monitor can't mount to the holes. The piece is attached by screws on the monitor that can only be accessed from the inside and you are required to pull the monitor screen apart in order to remove the piece and be able to mount the monitor to the 3 monitor stand. There are no instructions that come with the monitor or mention that this might have to be done. I'm not sure if it voids the warranty but it is the only way to mount this to a multiple display stand. I had to look it up on the internet. It's not for the faint of heart. I'm a do it yourselfer, so I did it myself. I ended up scratching and gouging the first frame a little trying to get it apart, but the other two went more smoothly. The monitors have a great picture and a small frame. I would have given a better rating if it was made clear that there was going to be an issue with mounting them. If you are going to use it as is, it's a great monitor. If you are planning to mount it, I would look for something easier. I would have used something else but I already waited 2 weeks to get these, and didn't want the hassle of returning them and getting others.
