Vesa mount blocked by base

In order to remove the base fully for a VESA mount, you have to physically remove the back panel of the screen to get at the screws for the mount. In doing so, I damaged the screen. This is an extremely poor design. I bought this monitor specifically because it had a VESA mount. I should not have to dismantle the screen to be able to use it. Until that point, it was a great monitor. If you need this for VESA you either need risers or buy something else.

nice but NOT TILTABLE

Don't buy if you want to mount the monitor

The only problem i have is that Samsung installed a stand mount swivel right next to the VESA mount location and they are not compatible. I had to take the entire back panel off to remove the screws which then leaves some rather large openings at the back.

No way to mount VESA bracket. Don't buy this

Never seen such poor engineering. The base to their desk stand is not removable so you can't get to the vesa mount holes.

Lack of VGA support, on/off button only

Was told that I could use a VGA to HDMI, but still did not work. Using it as HD display for my own desktop. No other buttons on TV for changing anything. Must have remote. Has ON/OFF button only

I noticed an HP 24" monitor on sale for the same price and I bought that. the display was much brighter AND the HP came with HDMI cords. this monitor did not.

False vesa mount advertising

But as soon as I brought it home and tried to hook it up with my mount, it wouldn’t fit. Because Samsung has done a horrible job, where the vesa mount holes are, there’s this holder thing right below it which doesn’t let the screen mount on it. Got two of these, returned them the same day. It might be good screen wise etc. but I never got to that point.

Overall disappointed

Using it as a 2nd monitor on a laptop and there's lines on top when I maximize the screen. Sometimes there are lots of lines and I have to wait for them to go away before I can use the screen. Stores not open and don't want to wait for another, that's the only reason i haven't returned it. Overall a disappointment, I had higher expectations because it's a Samsung and because we always use these at work.

Wobbly, unstable, leans forward

Disappointed!
