ice maker sucks. consistently freezes up. ice is always stuck together. does not dispense properly. best buy has tried to repair a few times. today same issue. ugh.

The worst, most beautiful, refrigerator. Thankfully we purchased the 4 year warranty because we needed, at least 8, repairs, ranging from ice maker to compressor. Finally, we, got it declared as a lemon and will get a replacement.

What I like best about this fridge is the generous amount of storage space. Plenty of room for everything! The only drawback is the storage in the left door. With the ice maker taking up a great deal of space, the shelves have little space, especially the middle shelf. You'll have trouble fitting a larger size ketchup bottle on that shelf but of course you still have the enormous space within the fridge to put that bottle. The temperature is well maintained even in the combination snack/freezer pullout drawer. You can regulate the temperature in this drawer to refrigerate or freeze which I find to be a very useful feature. The fridge is a little on the pricey side but the returns are well worth the expense.

It was pricey, but it has tons of room in the fridge and the freezer! We all like the door that has a small door to reveal frequent items (milk, juice, insulin) without opening the large door.

We purchased this refrigerator about 2 months back and love it. We paid a little more than we wanted to but this has been worth every penny and with the Price Match Gurantee I know I get a good price. We recently started juicing every day and this refrigerator helps make it easy. I love the ice maker and middle door where I can store vegetables and fruits for easy access. Really supports a healthy life style.

Had we known then what we know now we would have never bought this refrigerator. It is very loud (something you can't gauge in the store), sounding like a large aquarium constantly running in your kitchen. The water and ice dispenser leaks all the time so we need to keep a towel on the door since there is no drain to remove the water. Expectations were much higher for a top-end $4,000 refrigerator and we deeply regret buying this one. NOT recommended at all.

Just purchased brand new RF30HBEDBSR a few days ago and it makes loud pop noise when opening the bottom freezer door. Samsung support says it is normal. I don't think so. Brand new refrigerator this expensive making loud pop noise whenever opening freezer is normal? My 2 other refrigerators I paid way less many years ago still don't make sound like this. This appears to be design defect. I am hearing this from the right side of the freezer drawer. If I close and reopen consecutively, it makes the noise for the first 2-4 pulls and the noise goes away. And then, the noise comes back if I try opening it after some time. Foldable shelf was bent and wasn't horizontal out of box. I had to bend it downward myself to fix it. Left and right door did not align evenly so I had to adjust that myself, too. Nice looking; but, bad quality. I got it because of big labor day discount at bestbuy. But, after this experience I think I still paid way more that what it's worth. Constant problems with Ice Maker, even after replacement. Apparently its a common problem with this model.

It started out great. Beautiful unit, worked perfect. But after just 4 years we started having intermittent cooling issues. Finally got to the point the fridge would only cool to 56. The tray and freeze are fine. Looking online this is common - I took the dual cooling panel off, and discovered one of the fam wires had disconnected - looks like it was never secured properly. I corrected that, defrosted the coil, put it back together and it’s working again. Poorly made...
