It would have cost nearly as much as buying a new one but I had the geek squad protection which covered the repair and parts.

Although our previous dishwasher was quiet, this is the most quiet dishwaher we have ever owned. The price was right, and the Storm Wash option is amazing! Super clean dishes. Upon completion of wash cycle, the door pops open so that the dishes can be air dried, which cuts down on utility usage. Very satisfied with my purchase.

All nice features. If I’d known it didn’t also have HEATED DRY, I wouldn’t have bought it. EVERY time it finishes the whole cycle, the door pops open to facilitate the drying process (even though it can be disabled to stay shut…which would NOT help the dishes dry). EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
