All the fittings are plastic. The drain hose is on the left and my sink is on the right...it literally didn't even reach! We had to purchase a hose extension. The kickplate (packed behind styrofoam, cardboard and shrinkwrap was damaged and bent (packed that way). The door of the dishwasher is either a very shoddy design or broken, as it just falls open without any stops. Most doors have tension that keeps this from happening. It seems flimsy on the inside. The rack design limits the number of items I can wash. What was one load in my other brand is now one and a half in this Samsung. The shelves are lightweight, making them shaky and wobbly. I ordered sight unseen online from looking at the specs and pics...never again! If I saw it without knowing the brand, I would swear that Walmart starting selling dishwashers! AND, the wash cycle ran 2 hrs & 25 mins and the dishes were no where close to being dry nor did I feel any heat when I opened the door after completing the cycle. I let the dishes sit overnight, hoping they would be somewhat dryer in the morning...not at all! They looked as if I had just run the rinse cycle a half hour earlier! I will be returning this item immediately. This is TRULY not worth the money or the time & trouble. The only thing positive I can say is that for the most part, it is quiet...especially the first hour...after I realized that I un-pushed the start button when I closed the dishwasher door. Really??? This dishwasher is not worth the $950 price tag. Oh, and the third rack? It won't even hold a frying spatula. It's only for very flat - flatware.

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever had

I love Samsung products normally, but if your goal in buying this is clean dishes, look elsewhere. If your goal is sort of clean but still kind of dirty dishes this is perfect for you. Not one time have I used this machine and thought my dishes were perfectly clean. I’ve bought Bosch before and thought I’d save a few bucks this time, at this house... bad move! Spend the extra money and buy a Bosch!

Think ten times before but any Samsung product especially dishwasher. I bought a dish washer and working only one month then stop working. Samsung technician said manufacturing defects but they are not willing to replace or fix. Junk product. My house will be free of Samsung NO MORE JUNK IN MY HOUSE

The dishwasher broke in Jan 2022. It has some mechanical issues. Samsung setup some 3rd party company for repair to come after a week. The repair company postponed their servicing date for almost 2 weeks the day before the scheduled appointment. Then i reached out to samsung again and they set appointment with another company (home squad). They came after around 10 days, took a look at it and said they need to order some motor parts to fix it. However they never followed up and after another week i received a notification saying my ticket has been closed. I reached out to home squad and they said they don’t work with Samsung anymore. Reached out to Samsung again and they said they will open another ticket and setup appointment with a 3rd company who can come after 10 days. Samsung is refusing to replace the dishwasher so far. Horrible customer service support. I am stuck with a broken dishwasher for over a month.

However, the Auto release door feature broke after 3 months and Samsung did not have a part to fix so they were offering a refund that is less than what would cover a new dishwasher.
