Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The water connection for this dishwasher is in the back left and is made using a standard hose connection with a plastic nut designed to be tightened by hand. this makes it so that you a can not properly inspect it for leaks. Most dishwashers have the water connection up font that are accessed from the front toe kick plate and the final connection is made after the dishwasher has be slid back into place. It is Quiet and it does do a good job cleaning dishes. If you have a tile or vinyl sheet floor where a water drip may not be a big deal this mag be a good choice, but I would not recommend it if you have wood floors. (I am a Master Plumber and have installed many dishwashers.)

I washed 3 bowls in the 2nd d rack which had guacamole in them. The first wash looked like the water never touched them. I washed them a 2nd time and it looked like it just dried it on and after the 3rd wash they still were not clean so I decided to return the unit. I have a 2nd one delivering this week and am hoping this is just a case of a defective unit

I upgraded so that I wouldn't have to pre-rinse my dishes but if i didn't some of the glasses will have residue.

Sprayer Nozzle Falls Off after Less Than 2 Years

This started happening just after the one year manufacturer warranty expired. Samsung was no help: they told me to call a repair company and it'd be my cost. Wouldn't even send me a replacement nozzle. I do not recommend.

Doing multiple searches online , it’s a very common issue with these dishwashers. The one and only thing I do like about it is that it pops the door open after the cycle is complete which drys everything better

On the surface, Samsung machines are attractively designed and offer numerous features. Unfortunately, Samsung appliances are not well engineered and have disappointing reliability. I already had a poor experience with one of their refrigerators in the past. This dishwasher continues that trend with the unit displaying error codes after only six months of use (Google the LC error code to see the numerous people with issues).

The local appliance repair companies that service our other appliances do not work on Samsung. The appliance repair person who came out to try to fix this was unsuccessful. We are now looking at buying a new dishwasher. After speaking to my coworkers they had similar experiences with Samsung appliances. I will not buy any more Samsung appliances.

LC RESET NIGHTMARE!!!

This is a product designed to test your ability to maintain your composure on a weekly basis. The LC alarm is a problem and has been from day one based off all the negative reviews and product support just ignores it, hoping the issue will be resolved in the future. Every 1-2 weeks, I have to go thru a whole ritual to get this alarm to clear despite 2 different plumbers finding no issues.....THERE IS NO LEAK and no way to override the error....I'm just done fighting something that is supposed to make my life easier.

LC CODE

It is easy enough to clean and fix for a few months, but is very aggravating to have to do this at only 3-1/2 years. Samsung will not help with this issue at all. The water is leaking from some place but I have no idea from where.

Terrible Dishwasher

This unit is useless, it is worse than the 25 year old unit that it replaced. It gives error codes all the time, leaked water all over our kitchen, and when it does run it doesn't clean the dishes. That 3rd rack? The thing gently drips water on your silverware so if dirty and wet silverware is what you're looking for when it's done, this is the perfect machine for you. Samsung techs have been to our house 3 times and we are scheduling the 4th, they can't figure out what's wrong with it but won't replace it or give us our money back. It's been 3 months. We will never purchase a Samsung device ever again, the unit is terrible and the customer service is terrible. Buy literally anything else.

Not worth the cost!

It washes terribly, the metal flaps on the side bent outward just by pulling the bottom reach in and out for a year. The agitator started falling out, 3 x so far. I called for a technician to come out and fix these defects and now Best buy is saying there is physical damage (duh that's why i called) and canceled my warranty. The cost is what irked me. If i had paid less I'd understand. Never had this happen with a dishwasher in my 45 years of life.

It constantly leaves a film and sediment on glassware, it is not as quiet as it's decibel level suggests and not it's leaving an error code that makes no sense. I would not buy this dishwasher again if given the opportunity. I paid half the best buy asking price and I would not pay that again. I'm almost at the point where I need to wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. I already rinse them, which I never had to do with my Miele previously. Do NOT buy this machine.
