My complaint about the old one was the level of noise. This dishwasher is super quiet. I actually purchased the delayed start, because I didn't want to hear the noise. I don't use it. There are a lot of choices for the desired settings. You should read the manual.

I was boiling water and I thought it was the dishwasher. The boiling teapot was louder. 10 minutes before completion of the drying system, the door automatically cracks open to prevent condensation.

You do get what you pay for. Has good features like 3rd rack, stormwash seems to be a little gimmicky. Controls are good and install was easy. Definitely sensitive to water quality and you have to pick your detergent based on your water. Big cons: no removable/cleanable filter. Rinse aid system is a joke.

Does a great job washing and a goodish job drying. My only recommendation for improvement would be the soap dispenser cover. It is very cheaply made for an appliance in this price range. I doubt it will last a year without breaking.
