I need to try to read how to trouble shoot a bad smell coming from the dishwasher but overall i am very pleasantly surprised with this model. love the 3rd rack, love the sanitize options, love how quiet it is and it looks great with the rest of the black stainless appliances.

Not sure if it's just the Samsung brand or them all, but our plates don't fit in the lower rack standing straight up in the slots. They hit the upper rack, she we have to slant them at a weird angle taking up more space than otherwise if they'd fit. Our plates fit fine in our old GE dishwasher, but they don't in this one. My advice would be be on the lookout for this. As weird as it sounds, I wish I would have test fit a plate into each brand before buying this. I just assumed it would fit and I was wrong. Everything else works fine.

My only concern is the buttons to turn it on…sometimes I have to push it several times before it registers my touch. Every time I’m afraid it won’t turn on.

The 3rd rack doesn’t open completely. Because we installed it late (after weeks Was purchased ) I couldn’t return it. No I have to live with it. To much money for the defects . So far washing is good .
