Tech says that the sump has to be replaced. It was very quiet at first, but gradually became louder over time. The price has also increased about 30% since I bought it, so I will not replace with the same model (or brand, for that matter.)

If you are installing this yourself, you need to be very gentle with the door. The stainless steel is light guage and does not have sufficient reinforcing at the bottom, be careful on where you grab when positioning the dishwasher. I would imagine the door can dent easily if someone bumps into it.

This is by far one of the worst dishwashers for cleaning I have ever owned. I purchased this because it has good reviews but I'm not so sure about them. The only way I can get my dishes clean is if I pre-rinse and only load about half full. I follow the manufacturers loading suggestions and still terrible. I won't be getting another Samsung dishwasher anytime soon. My old GE roll around was a much better unit even at 30 years old. Sorry Samsung. :(

We bought this dishwasher for our brand new home. Within 4 months dishwasher stopped working with LC Code. Calling with Samsung care and technician was not good as well. Their technicians are rude with their customer. The technician came to fix it didn’t had any idea what was he looking. I don’t have faith on Samsung anymore. I would never buy any Samsung Products.
