Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung dishwasher low manufacturing quality control under warranty.New dishwaher installed but no power on(dead).Had to have 3 individual service calls.First service call from Samsung was to install a new control panel however since still dead the over the phone Samsung tech then dianosed it to need a new computer board .When the new board arrived on the second service call the Samsung tech could still not get any power and reccomended to order a second replacement board. Samsung declined to replace the dishwasher still under warranty. On the third service call the new board finally solved the dead power issue.Obviously Samsung has overall issues with their quality control and poor diagnosis skills of the Samsung over the phone technical support.The in home repair technician was relying on the failed diagnosis of the corporate "skilled experts techs "at Samsung. If you buy Samsung plan to possibly having time to stay home all day for repeated service calls with Samsung corporate techs to take a guess how to resolve an issue under warranty.

Pops open during drying for “drying efficiency”. That is irritating for us with small kids. Racks could be more sturdy. Surprisingly like the 3rd rack. It’s just an ok dishwasher.

That turned out to be a mistake - this dishwasher is massively disappointing. First of all, it leaks. There is some kind of seal problem on the lower left of the door. Next, it flat out doesn't clean dishes very well. I have to thoroughly rinse anything I put into it, otherwise dishes will not come out clean, which kind of defeats the point of a dishwasher. I'm not putting them in heavily soiled or anything. Finally, the third (topmost) rack is almost useless. Flatware and utensils don't get clean when placed in it, which the manual flat out states is possible. It makes me wonder why Samsung even bothered putting a third rack in, other than a marketing bullet point. Overall this thing is overpriced for how cheaply it is built and how poorly it washes dishes. I recommend spending a bit more on a Bosch.
