Dishes must be hand washed prior tonloading and they might be sanitized but likely they come outbwith soap still on them. The machine is anything but quiet. Despite the claim we cannot have a conversation while its running. Also dishes just dont fit and the top rack is obnoxious. So everything about this machine is terrible.

The racks are flimsy plastic feels like it will break quickly. The latch takes effort to pull open and the door is very lightweight so expect to lose balance trying to open the darn thing. I got used to the door but the horrible job it does to clean dishes I can’t get passed. Decided to return and get a different brand.

I have had a number of dishwashers (various brands) over the years and this one is just terrible. It leaves a sand-like residue on dishes, often the detergent door does not open, leaves food residue on most dishes, doesn't dry very well, and has even left milk on the inside of bottles. The utensil baskets don't allow for adequate cleaning of the utensils and they even have worn spots in the racks which have begun to rust. I use a high quality detergent and rinse aid. All of these issues have been happening since the beginning of use and I have had 3 Samsung assigned technicians out to "fix" the issues and they continue. Samsung promised to replace or credit me for the dishwasher since it was failed to be fixed three times and then later reneged on this promise later when it came time to fulfill this promise. I am now stuck with a terrible product and will frankly, never purchase any type of samsung product again due to this poor product and terrible customer service. Please steer clear and purchase something else!

Let's begin for the paint, first 40 day bcz the heat when all the dishes are washed started to peal. We contacted the wearhouse and they said doesn't cover the warranty .. and from the inside one of the spray arm felt apart from it. I don't mind replace it but the question is? It is worthy...??? This is an upper mid range dishwasher with a lot of the "features" of the higher end washers. Had it for 2 years. It never worked well. Cleaning was poor. If you even think about putting in a full load you can bet you'll be cleaning half the dishes when you remove them. Add the "storm wash," now you have a 3+ hour wash with dishes that aren't clean. I dont understand why it's so bad. Most of my local appliance stores won't carry Samsung dishwashers because they are trash. Wish I would have known this earlier. 2.5 years into ownership I scrapped the washer and bought a thermador which is just an no overpriced Bosch. Cost more but at least it washes the dishes. My single positive about this dishwasher is that it generally dries the dishes well. Opinion: don't listen to all these "5 star reviews". This is the worst dishwasher I've ever owned. Get a Bosch, miele, maybe KitchenAid, or even Kenmore over this garbage.

Samsung Warranty Issue

The dishwasher did it's job until the tub developed a leak and is unrepairable. I have contacted Samsung for the last three weeks about replacing this dishwasher. I hate doing it this way, but I've tried my best with "chats" and "phone calls", etc. I've had a Samsung certified repairman tell me the tub is leaking and is unrepairable. The warranty says "tub leaking is a lifetime warranty". I understand I'm responsible for labor of the replacement dishwasher, but cannot get anyone from Samsung to say anything other than throw it back to the repair technician. They did their job --- it cannot be fixed. Now, I need Samsung to step up and get a relacement like the warranty says ASAP.

Noisy, mediocre cleaning, died too quickly

Tech that came to repair under warranty found a completed unrelated manufacturing defect (that he said is quite common in these Samsung dishwashers). Therefore he didn't even attempt to fix the water issue saying this needed the dishwasher would need to be replaced anyways. Noisy - you can't watch tv in the living room while this is running in the kitchen Cleaning quality - Not horrible but below average for sure. 3rd rack is a joke...almost does nothing Warranty process - Samsung made the warranty process as painful as possible. This was my first Samsung appliance purchase and needless to say, it will be my last. Because of how bad the warranty process was I'll even consider switching from Samsung phones & TVs as well in the future.

The washer was not accepted because I had ordered a set. I talked with a Best Buy representative and was rescheduled for a week later. The exact same thing happened two more times. That’s 3 days that I changed my plans and waited all day. With no explanation or resolution from best buy I cancelled the order not willing to but my life on hold any longer.

I purchased on black Friday 2022. Waited 3 months for the delivery only to have installation fail. During install tech started machine and ran for 5 seconds and poof. Filled kitchen with smoke burning smell. Tech un-installed and still no dishwasher as of 5-10-23. Six months since purchase have no idea if when I will get what I paid for and I am sure the warranty has been ticking down as I am sure the warranty started the day it was delivered but that will be a whole different battle. Save the headached **Don't purchase this piece of garbage!!!!!!!!!

The sump pump cracked and leaked water into the motor. On top of that we’ve had nothing but issues with the dishwasher before it finally “died”. The soap dispenser broke a year in, and the dishes never really came out clean unless we completely hand washed them prior to using the dishwasher. This dishwasher and my other Samsung appliances are trash. I will never buy Samsung again.

We recommend that your dishwasher is not plugged into an extension cord and an individual branch circuit with a 120 V, 60Hz, 15 AMP fuse or circuit breaker that serves only your dishwasher to avoid any power loss.

WE bought all appliances as a package and this dishwashers mother board has broken twice in three years. second time a few weeks after the extended 3 yr warranty we bought expired.. and its STILL not fixed. Going back and forth between Best Buy and Samsung has been a nightmare. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES, THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG
