I think it won’t tell you if you press opposing cycles and run. Couldn’t get another one. Maybe discontinued. Loved everything else about it. Just too many run options.

The third rack is a great feature giving us a place to put oversized knives and tongs so they don't take up room in the middle rack. This allows us to utilize the middle rack for bowls and glasses. The storm wash feature is great for pots with cooked on food.

Worst Dishwasher I’ve Ever Owned

The only nice thing about this unit would be the low noise though that wasn’t a feature that mattered to me. A normal wash cycle can take almost 3 hours which is rediculous. The sliding door that holds the soap is hard to shut. Worst feature is the door pops open 6” during the drying cycle but to me drys dishes worst than all the others I have owned. I’m not impressed. I’d rather have saved my money and washed dishes by hand.

I don’t know if it’s due to the design or the installation but the third rack is hard to pull out or push back in due to the spray arm is hanging low!! It’s a bit frustrating trying to pull out and push back in... Any suggestions?

The top rack left slide bar was missing the end cap. I spent an additional $23 only to get the wrong endcap. Very frustrating.

not cleaned very well

My previous 20 year old washer cleaned way better. The worst thing, however, is the smell. Apparently, this is common in modern dishwashers. The seal is so good that if you leave dirty dishes in this for any length of time, it festers and smells like a dead animal died in it. My old dishwashers never had this problem. Samsung's suggestion was to either leave the dishwasher open until you are ready to run it (and who wants the dishwasher open 5" all the time) or to run a 17 minute rinse cycle every time I put dirty dishes in it, which is a huge waste of electricity and water. Should have kept my perfectly functioning 20 year old dishwasher.
