I reported it to Samsung, they sent a tech out 12 days later who had to order parts, at which time he informed me that due to how busy the schedule is that he couldn’t make it back for another 12 days. Not the greatest experience so far but not the worst either.

The millennial tenants who lease the apartment report that it: (1) washes to a squeaky clean level, (2) has a relatively short wash & dry cycle, and (3) and looks beautiful with the other stainless steel appliances in their kitchen.

Decent Dishwasher for $$

You must keep your user manual handy. The drying function is very weird but I’m dealing with it. I got a code less than a month into my purchase that required me to turn off the unit from the breaker. Not happy about that but I got the support plan so I hope they can correct the problem quickly.

Congratulations on your new Samsung StormWash Dishwasher. I see you are new to our Condensing Dry Technology. This means your hot water from the supply line gets really hot and turns into steam. When things start to cool down again, water droplets form. They form on the cooling stainless steel walls of the dishwasher instead of on your still-hot dishes (although this doesn't work as well with plastic dishes or containers, which cool quickly). Any remaining droplets on the dishes evaporate away, which is easier when the door is left cracked or you have to auto release door function. For more information, see below:

Controls on top are easy to read, and good selection of wash cycles. The third rack on top is great for odd shaped items, and is really handy for extra items. Very quiet and nice soft tones ring when wash is complete.

We bought this for a vacation home/Air B&B and it’s been a perfect fit thus far. I had purchased all LG appliances for my primary residence just a few months prior and wish I would’ve gotten these instead. My favorite feature of this dishwasher is that it pops open once the cycle is complete so I don’t have to worry about anything getting moldy or sitting damp in the dishwasher for hours at a time if I’m not there to open it after a completed cycle. That feature alone makes me wish I had these in my own home.
