The silverware consistently has debris left on it. The glasses come out with food particles on them that weren't there when they went in. Yes, the dishwasher is quiet. I like that it opens to air out at the end of the cycle. However this was a waste of money. DO NOT BUY.

Maybe using cheap soap i only use cascade platinum and have no problems, and clean out your filter once a week.

In the first year, the control board malfunctioned because a design flaw allowed water inside. A few months later, and it stopped working AGAIN! Of course now it is out of warranty but it doesn't take into account the fact that the repair techs know this is a design flaw.

I regret buying this dishwasher

The previous dishwasher I had for about 40 years cleaned dishes better than this piece of junk. This dishwasher does not clean dishes well at all. I think it has a design flaw. Large plates or platters won’t fit in this dishwasher. A technician came out to check it, but could not find anything electrically wrong with it, so I am stuck with a piece of junk in my kitchen until I am able to get another dishwasher… hopefully one that will clean the dishes.
