I've used different settings to test cleaning capability. The top rack doesn't get a very good wash on any setting. The center rack does ok, but you have to be careful when loading the silverware because items can stop the center rack washer arm from spinning. Bottom rack washer the best, but overall this washer does not clean very efficiently. I must pre wash all items. The best feature, it is quiet.
