It was replaced once and serviced a few times. The dishwasher is now out of warranty and I had to unplug it because of a loud grinding noise and smell of a burning electrical motor. Very disappointing

It replaced a functional but very old dishwasher that let us know when it was running. My husband thought our new Samsung wasn't running because it is so quiet. Then he thought a ghost was in the house because the door opened by itself when it was finished. First time he's ever been impressed by an appliance in our long marriage. I'm also impressed by the function but have to mention the black stainless steel. It's absolutely gorgeous. The clean lines streamlined and upgraded our kitchen. Couldn't be happier with our purchase. We added a Samsung black Stainless refrigerator at the same time. Stunning look.

Samsung appliances really deliver when it comes to durability, as this isn't my first Samsung appliance, just decided to upgrade.

This certain model only has the option to do a lower only wash versus the option to do a top only wash. The settings are not very descriptive either. I have only done a few washes in this dishwasher and doesn’t seem to get as clean as the whirlpool dishwasher I have in my other house.

You’ll have to figure out which cycle actually works best for what you need. Would really love to be able to turn the melody off that it plays for 30 seconds when the cycle is complete, no lie I timed it one night.

It was delivered in August and installed in September. The day after install, it started flashing a leak code. Samsung sent a local repairman to look at it insisting it was an installation error. The repairman broke the dishwasher, my new cabinets and didn't even reconnect the deain hose stating it was "junk" and that i should NOT buy Samsung appliances. He informed me that he would contact Samsung that it was defective "out of the box". After a few days and not hearing anything, I contacted Samsung again. They said that they hadn't heard from the repairman but that it was marked in their system as fixed. After multiple phone calls, Samsung offered to send another repairman out, but would not repkace the unit because it had been "repaired". This took several weeks to resolve which was ultimately accomplished by emailing every Samsung executive I could find an email address for including the CEO. It was a very long email, detailing everything that had happened and how many times Samsung hung up on me. Finally, they sent me the purchase price back. I foolishly purchased another one of the same model. After being installed for less than 3 months, the drain pump has now went out on the second unit. I am not even contacting Samsung about it this time. I pulled the pump off of the first unit and ordered another one. Thank goodness that we will be moving soon and this dishwasher will stay with the house. I will not make this mistake again. The last new dishwasher that I had bought before this one was a Bosch that lasted more than 15 years.

The dishes don’t need to be rinsed beforehand unless it’s caked on which is normal. It’s a great dishwasher, I’m really happy with it

I find it a little difficult to put the dishes in accurately and I would like the top, 3rd shelf to be a little deeper. I appreciate that it opens by itself to let the steam out when the wash cycle is over.
