Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laughable how many times this dishwasher throws an error code during a cycle such as "OC" which means water level not correct. The dishwasher is completely level, water supply is fine, pumps are fine, it is draining fine and yet it has this happen randomly with no consistency. Also as others have mentioned this piece of trash will not clean your dishes. Constantly coated in residue and flecks of the dishwasher pod abrasives. Even when switching detergents and adding rinse aids it still never completely cleans the dishes. (Calling this out just to head off the inevitable samsung support agent who will say "try a rinse aid, switch detergents, plumb a supply to a holding tank of fiji water, blah blah blah") We have a central water softener and have tried all sorts of troubleshooting and nothing works. I would leave this on a street corner with a "free" sign but that would be cruel to the poor sap who mistakenly would take it home and end up in the same cruel circumstance I find myself in. Don't make a mistake and buy this - look at the proportion of 1 star reviews these issues are COMMON.

It then progressed to leaving this residue on every dish on either rack and on the entire inside door. Even after repeated cleanings and visits from the Geek Squad, this dishwasher is now completely unusable. Every dish comes out dirtier than it goes in. Save your money and don't buy a Samsung dishwasher.

Would not buy again!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We just purchased the machine and have now done 4 loads. Here is what I have found and have spoken with Samsung Support twice. First, the washer cleans well. Initially, the first load was done on Normal, but nothing dried. The interior and all the dishes were still soaked. Then I read to also add the Sanitize to the cycle and it did dry the dishes reasonably well. But you can hear (slightly) the washing if you are working in the kitchen. When the dishwasher starts and then after the washing cycle, it pumps out the water. There is a VERY LOUD gushing as this takes place, which can be heard into the living room. I was told this is normal. Finally, when you pull out the main racks (bottom and the middle, not the silverware top) both automatically return into the machine. So, after each item is put into the machine before you put the next item in, you have to pull the rack out again! Plus, when you pull out the bottom rack it raises up about 4" or so and you have to push it down or you cannot put plates into the rack! The last issue I had was with BestBuy and the inability to call the local store to find out if the machine was ready to be shipped. We have been redoing our appliances and as we all know now, getting products is an issue. I had several canceled at the last moment. So, when I tried to call my local BestBuy, I found they now do not receive any calls to the store, everything is sent to the national number and they do not have any updated information on orders! So I had to make a special trip into town to get the order verified for delivery. So, I am not pleased with this machine, and would not recommend buying it, especially for the price, and I probably will not shop at BestBuy again, because they care little about customers after thay have bought a product!

Cleans really well, Does not last long.

From what I can tell from extensive research online is that the "water wall" models have a sever design flaw. The drive motor and components associated with it fail very frequently. If you're handy it's fixable but I've had nothing but trouble trying to repair it. I would absolutely not recommend this model or other samsung water wall models!

The service panel was replaced within the first 12 months. I've personally fixed several error codes. Samsung makes products that require service but offer a 12-month warranty. Understand that you will be paying for services for the life of this product. Steer clear of Samsung!

Have had it for over a year now and regret not waiting or just purchasing an even higher priced competitor. This dishwasher has yet to complete a single run without having to handwash half of the items when it finishes. There is constantly film and dirt particles on most of the items. I've checked the drain line, tried rinse aid, nothing worked glasses and dishes covered in disgusting grime and chunks every time. Save your money and buy a different brand.

Too noisy loud motor sounds are really irritated

The reason we chose this because of the Decibel level is 48 dBA which is quieter than 50 dBA that we had before and was very quiet. Before chose this one, we have read all the reviews to make sure and many of the reviews said this is pretty quiet, however, that's not true. We are old and have hearing problems but are able to hear the loud squeak sounds even from outside hose constantly. We can't use longer cycles because such a loud motor noise that really bothers us. We finally called Bestbuy to exchange or returning but they refused to help because it's been a little over two weeks, they said. Most appliance companies give 90 days returning policy but not the Bestbuy, so we called Samsung and a tec. came out said that's the way Samsung makes and don't want to help either because the function is fine. Now, we got stuck with this noisy dishwasher and have to endure every day. not happy at all.

But after about 2 years started having the "3 beep" error on the washer. After googling it found that it's a very common issue. If we used washer more than 3 times in 4 days, we'd have to turn off breaker and let the washer sit for 24 hours before we could use it. After 4 years it started leaking just a bit underneath, just enough to set the "leak" sensor off. Called Samsung, hours on phone with no resolve, and poor english. Replaced it with Bosch and so far, have been very happy. If you just need a 4-5 year washer maybe this is for you. When we first purchased the washer it was $1200+, not happy.

Design Flaws Impossible to Live With

I've had it a month and will be trying to get my money back after Samsung sends out a repairman because I don't think it will be able to be fixed. The spacing between the bottom rack rails on the door and the rails on the inside of the washer has a gap that is too wide, so the wheels fall down in that crack when trying to push the rack back in after loading. It takes a strong person to wrestle it out of that crack and into the washer; I cannot even close the dishwasher without my husband's assistance. The spring on the door (I assume that was added so the door will open before the dry cycle is complete...a totally needless feature) is too strong so you have to hold the door down with one hand while trying to pull the bottom tray out.

For the dishwasher, it stopped working and no one could tell us why. Samsung Customer Care only wanted to send a technician out to charge us to look at it. Also purchased a range that had 2 gas valves go bad and a microwave that now has a bad sensor. It also doesn't clean very well.

Don’t fall for the okie doke. The dishwasher swishes around recycled water and doesn’t get the dishes clean! We had Samsung send three companies come out to repair or give us a refund or replacement and they would not do anything. Customer service policy is horrible. You need two repairs to get a replacement.. what if the product doesn’t clean? Samsung makes good phones and that’s about it! If you want to buy an appliance, go with a tried and true. I took the loss and bought a kitchen aid. The best decision I ever made.

There is always residue on glasses and other items, even if it's not a super dirty load. I have to inspect everything I take out after a wash because I usually have to hand-wash or re-wash multiple items. STAY AWAY! I had a tech come out and nothing was wrong with the unit.
