Dishes are always dirty. If you buy this, plan on thoroughly cleaning all dishes by hand and just using the dishwasher for additional sanitizing. I use the heavy wash/storm cycle, which is 3 hours and 19 minutes long, and the dishes are still dirty at the end. Best Buy/Samsung would not return.

I love samsung products. This dishwasher works great.

the Samsung dishwasher is the worst. its ok for dishes and glasses but nothing else, it takes 3 hours with the storm wash but dishes still dirty. I have to rinse every bit of food, because the rinse cycle Is not efficient . please do yourself a favour do not buy this dishwasher or you will regret it.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher Jan 2, 2019, model DW80K5050. I am not happy with this brand as the control panel has failed twice. I am still waiting on a technician to replace the part this time under the extended warranty. This seems to be a defective model and should be recalled.

Stay away from this dishwahser It fails to clean dishes specially on the top rack. The bottom rack washes beautifully but the top its almost useless it even being there. Iv red the manual for proper loading procedures and even contacted samsung did everything they said and still the top rack doesnt clean. Not impressed and because i took too long to get it installed before using it im outside my return policy to get rid of it. Do your self a favor get something different.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS. Bought this unit in May, 2017 and it was completely broken by August, 2018. Samsung customer service is horrendous - first they promised a warranty allowance and service repair, wasted 5 days of my time, then they told us they could do nothing. The problem with Samsung DW's is two-fold: 1) They are low quality and poorly designed with a circuit board on top of the unit (which is vulnerable to counter top moisture) and they short out easily, and 2) they have a pretty non-existent service network in certain parts of the country. It is impossible to get them fixed and hard to get parts. If you're in the market for a DW, do yourself a favor and go spend a couple extra bucks for a Bosch. I love my Samsung TVs, but will never buy another kitchen appliance from them again.

Garbage like all other Samsung appliances I have purchased. The slanted bottom rack is a nightmare and the riveted front seal tore off in about a year and a half.

In the first few months we were very pleased with this dishwasher, but it was all downhill from there. We always rinsed the food off the dishes but that was no help. About a year into owning the Samsung dishwasher, it stopped washing the dishes very well; so we started using the "Heavy wash" option. About a year and a half from purchase, it stopped even dissolving the dishwasher tablets; so we started using liquid dishwasher soap. Now, a few months later and freshly out of warranty, it leaves marks of the dishwasher soap on the interior of the dishwasher and the dishes.

I have owned this dishwasher for 3yrs and have had to get it serviced 7 times. at this point i am cutting my losses and will be replacing it with a BOSCH. I WILL NEVER BY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN

GARBAGE!! I purchased a 4 piece bundle - Microwave, Dishwasher, and Fridge, all failed within two years. The Ice maker failed on the fridge, the microwave continues to run after it is shut off and the dishwasher beeps and shuts off before finishing a cycle. Idiot me did not purchase an extended warranty and they are now out of warranty and I Have to replace them. Do not purchase, find a better product than Samsung. Garbage

Don’t recommend buying this. Lasted only 4 years. It’s pretty noisy and would leave the dishes dirty a lot of times. Also, pay attention that there is no filter to be replaced

This dishwasher has been a let down since the beginning, I was able to use 3 times before it stopped working and had to have multiple technicians come out. Once they got it working again I thought I was clear to enjoy my dishwasher. This thing does NOT clean your dishes at all. They come out dirty and covered in tiny bits of food debri. It’s disgusting to say the least. I have tried all the different settings and nothing works. I will never purchase another Samsung product. I suggest taking your money elsewhere. Wish I would’ve purchase a whirlpool, but want our appliances to match.

This dishwasher is terrible. We bought a new house that came with this model and the first time we used it the door leaked water all over the floor. Apparently a gasket didn’t seal correctly and it hasn’t had the issue since. More concerning is the door that opens automatically when the cycle is complete. It turns out there is a reason for this as when the dishwasher is closed it gets moldy. We had mold growing on our dishes when we returned from a weekend away from the house due to leaving the door closed. Not what you’d expect from a 1 month old machine. I never had such and issue with my 2013 kenmore elite model at our old house. Finally, this machine just does a poor job of cleaning my dishes. It’s too bad I need to replace it when it is new. Don’t buy this junk.

Used storm wash and still leaves residue; poorly rinses dishes. 3 hour cycle gives poor results. Would not recommend Samsung dishwasher! Does poor job at sanitizing even prewashed dishes!

This dishwasher is full of problems. Don't buy!! I have had problems with dishwasher from the beginning. Called Samsung and was given the run around about the issue. They sent out a tech that knew nothing. It has frequent LC (leak error) when there is no leak. Now the dishwasher is completely dead and it is 2 years old! Samsung has refused to do anything now that is out of warranty. Do your research - you will find that this dishwasher is loaded with issues. Also, it is very hard to find any one who will service Samsung. Buyer be warned!!!

I would have loved to review the working of dishwasher but just 2 days after installation it started leaking. After calling the geek squad ( which we paid additionally), they came out, determined it was bad installation, was leaking from the fittings and they promised some one from installation team will be coming in 24 hrs. It is one week now, we have been calling everyday and after holding 45 min to 1 hr every time, they say either its installation team or repair department, transfer and here goes another 45 min holding the phone. Its extremely frustrating how bad the installation was done and after paying money for a new product, for geek squad, we are without dishwasher since a week.

Pure garbage-- dishes come out with food particles attached after first auto cycle. Wash by hand -- then 2nd wash cycle typically comes out clean and fresh smelling. I'll say it's quite and looks great.

I bought my Sansung dishwasher not quite 3 years ago - overall has worked well but has always been difficult to load - poor layout in the trays. A while ago it started being difficult to start - display wouldn't respond but would eventually connect. Of course, one day it stopped responding - had a repairman come out and was told that parts were next to impossible to get and his words have proven true. They can't get the right part (wiring harness) to repair my dishwasher. I am not having to replace my 3-year old Samsung dishwasher. Not happy.

As it was very quiet, we had to basically wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher; otherwise you’d have to run it twice in hopes they would come clean. The dishes were always wet/steamed regardless of putting in jet dry as suggested. And the door popping open in the last minutes of the cycle did not help. Had enough and returned, never been so disappointed in a Samsung product.
