This Samsung DVD player was purchased to go along with a Samsung 4K UHD TV. It produces a very good picture. Regular dvd are more vivid and of course 4K DVD’s are in a class if there own. It is extremely easy to connect and use. Do recommend.

This 4K player works great with my tv and sound bar. Good price for Christmas too

Replaced my bluray with this 4K for my 4K UHD TV and it was great watching movie!

The player is capable of playing 4K blu ray. blu ray and DVD formats. Have not tried to play others such as a CD. Easy to set up and was an excellent value on sale. Would buy again and could not be happier with my purchase.

Bought on black Friday, great deal for first 4k player owned. The picture really is noticable different even on 55" early model 4k screen, and blu rays look noticeably sharper due to the upscaling. When using audio from the player to the TV, the audio has to be much higher compared to audio from streaming apps directly on the TV (Netflix on TV is around 20 volume, from 4k player: 40). The lack of wireless wasn't a factor as the location is right by our modem. Player is decently quick going through menus, great buy on sale.

This along with the 4k tv and the 4k HDMI cables deliver a superb picture.

Has the quality you'd expect but the added benefit (which I didn't know about at the time of purchase) of having great synergy with my recently purchased Samsung TV. A long time Sony buyer but I'm very happy with how the Samsung products work together. Power up the Blu-ray player to play a disc and the TV comes on and switches to the blu-ray player input. Very convenient.

The blue ray player we got is easy to operate since we have never had one

This has all the features you could possibly need for a smart bluray player. I didn't give 5 stars because of the size of the unit.

Great picture! Got this when it was on sale and very pleased with its performance. Only con was that it can only connect via wired internet so I am unable to use its smart tv capabilities because my router is in another room and would require running a cable through the wall. Wi-if should be an included feature nowadays.

Merry xmas to me. Upgrade my system with these and the picture is great.

For the price this is a great 4K blue ray player that plays everything.

Got this on a Black Friday sale. We have a 4K TV, so it, combined with the 4K Blu Ray player definitely gives a good quality picture. At first, however, the remote control seemed glitchy. Turns out it had a button that was stuck. It’s a bit disappointing overall, however, in that it just doesn’t run as smoothly as our last Blu Ray player, which gave out. Maybe because it was a smart device and I guess this one isn’t. (ie: It doesn’t automatically change to Blu Ray source when a disc is put in.) :/ Also, it’s got this huge white bar at the top of the screen whenever you rewind or fast forward or even start the movie, that stays up way too long. Hoping there’s a way to change that.
