Unfortunately, I bought 3 of them, 2 for my home and one for my daughter. now I will be returning all of them if they cannot even get a remote to work longer than one time.

Worst player I've ever owned

In most cases will not act on the function selected on the remote. Once the movie is finally playing, Don't touch the remote. Any movement pauses the movie and it takes forever to get it to play again.

GREAT PICTURE DIED IN 2 months

Called they cannot fix or troubleshoot more than "unplug" or "reset " still had no picture. Then being the product is 2 months old almost to the day I have to pay to ship it in . It upsets me when a manufacturer says there is a warranty but yet i am paying to have the transit. I feel bad if it where a t.v Thanks samsung give me more reason to not buy your product. In Addition to the 2 month I might have used it maybe 10 times. Poor decision wish I went with another brand. A product should not DIE in that time frame then I have to pay to ship .

This is really a strip down model.

This is not very “smart” in that it does not have wireless wi-fi. Will not play 3-D either. I would not recommend. Should have read the specifications carefully.

Would not play DVD

The 2nd one I purchased was just as bad as the 1st unit. Upon inserting a Blu Ray the menu would show on the screen and I selected play disc. Nothing happened. I went over to the unit and pressed play on the unit and again nothing happened. I could not eject the disc with either the remote or pressing the open tray button on the unit. I had to unplug the unit for about 1/2 hour and then upon plugging it in I was able to eject the disc. The 2nd unit was returned to Best Buy. I'll stay away for Samsung Blu ray players.

The first one I purchased stopped working within 2 weeks. Exchanged it for another, almost 11 months in, this one begins to have problems. Brand new 4k discs are skipping as if they were full of scratches. Then I tried using my LG 4k Blu-ray player, and they all play without issue. I won't be buying another Blu-ray player from Samsung. I've had my LG for a few years without issue, it looks like I'll be getting another one from them.

Another piece of Samsung garbage

Probably used it to watch 10 to 15 blu-Ray disks and this piece of garbage is now permanently on the red blink. No way to get it to reset...., add this to the Samsung Kitchen range that broke down after 2 years of use, the Samsung Dishwasher that is 2 years old and had had 4 different repairs made, the Samsung fridge that needed the ice maker replaced after only 2 years.....my enthusiasm for Samsung appliances are at rock bottom. Would not recommend Samsung to an enemy
