    When paired with the Samsung Q60 tv, it automatically detected the player and set everything up without manual intervention. Not sure if other tv brands do the same time. Quick movie start-up! Seamless integration with our Samsung tv. We don’t use included smart apps, so can’t speak on those.

    Plays 4K DVDs very well, but, what I was most impressed with was the up conversion of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. Loads fast with easy menu. The only 2 "negatives" we're the lack of Dolby vision support and the setup of the audio output if you use an older sound system. You have to select bitstream from the setup menu if you use the optical output or you will not get either Dolby 5.1 or DTS.
