I have a qled tv purchased 4k HDMI cable to improve image and did not notice a difference.

This player does more than our first tv set did! It is complex, but thanks to the Geek Squad, I think we have it the basics down. It is brand new so have no idea on the reliability of this player. We relied on Consumer Reports for that. It lost a star because it can't link to our new LG TV, but we were warned that might be the case.

The Picture on the M8500 is great. no question about it. But the basic features are lacking. Although the Samsung menu screens are really nice, there's no frame -by-frame slo mo. At least I couldn't find it. I took the Samsung back and bought the Sony X800. Hello slo' mo'!

Had some issues early on with this player before updating the firmware, but seems fine now with firmware updated across all my HT components.. I use it for 4k uhd blu ray discs as well as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.. Decodes 4k HDR without issues, and even outputs dolby atmos with Jack Ryan amazon prime content.

Wifi ready. Capability to setup various applications.

Bought this while on sale and so glad I did. This DVD player does everything and more. The Ultra 4K DVD's are amazing, and it does a great job with "normal" DVD's with upgrading it's quality. Highly recommended!

Great DVD player. I am basically using this as just a DVD player since I use my TV for streaming, so I can't speak to that. I would imagine it is great because I use a Samsung TV for streaming.

Not top of the line, but very good quality and value.

Great 4k player, my gripe is that it doesn't allow for frame by frame advance or rewind and the info bar at the top stays on too long after you un-pause or stop from a ff or rewind, so you get a third of the screen blocked for five or so seconds. It's annoying.

This Blu-ray renders excellent detail to both, DVD and Blu-ray discs that I play. I have not as yet purchased any UHD movies to play on it so, I cannot review its performance with them until later.

Bought this for my new 65 in. Samsung qled and home audio onkyo receiver along with a 12in. Klipsch subwoofer. The player does the job well, but as like reading the reviews there are times when the blu ray is playing it sounds (loud internal parts moving noise). Anyways bought the 4 year warranty for peace of mind.

My old BluRay wouldn’t play the newest high resolution media. Bought this to go with my Samsung 4Q big screen and they integrate beautifully!

this 4k player works great with my samsung 4k tv. real clean picture with 4k dvds even with bluray and normal dvds. and it has alot of extras for streaming and other cool stuff.

I love the way that the Blu-ray player, receiver and smart tv communicate with each other. I turn on the Blu-ray player and the receiver and tv automatically turn on to the right setting.

Despite all the negative reviews I've read about everywhere, this player so far has been worth the money. Its quiet, fast and looks great. Reviews arent everything, it's worth a try.

Purchased item to upgrade from an older "non-4K" Samsung Blu-Ray player. Pros: it does the job. The 4K streaming into a 4K TV is great. The player is "visually appealing". Cons: No digital display - the old player had a digital display that told me "playing time" and such for discs and streaming programming.

Bought this player to replace another player that did not have Wi-Fi. Disappointed with the apps as I was hoping to get Disney +. Unable to add additional apps or use the browser to get to Disney +. Thought it was a "Smart" device, but not as smart as the televisions.

This router is great it’s helping my tv, printer and internet work very well. My last one was too old and had a weak signal. This is making home life much better! Geek squad set it up.
