I got this player because I wanted to watch movies in 4K HDR and my previous player did not support HDR. I love samsung products and If you have a Samsung TV and get this player they talk to each other and turning on the player also turns the TV on. To make sure you get the 4k HDR experience you need to read carefully the quick start guide because depending on the TV you have, you have to plug in the HDMI cable into the correct HDMI port on your tv.

I have had it a week now.The best picture I have ever gotten.

I wanted the TV, soundbar and blu-ray to all be ATMOS, with ultra high everything. The picture is stunning, it looks kind of like 3D and sort of surreal. I've not seen a movie at home that looks like you have people standing in the living room with you. It gives you tons of options to twerk your sound and picture such as; Aspect ratio, HDMI color, dynamic range, and DTS Neo just to name a few. This was a great purchase to complement my Samsung NU8000 TV and Samsung 7.1.4 speakers. I guess the only thing I'm missing is the Galaxy Note 9...oh well can't have it all. LOL!

I love it. My family really enjoy watching movies the color is so vivid the enhanced quality of sound and color is amazing.

I brought the blue ray for Christmas, but decided to use it now. I can say that I am not disappointed, the picture is great!

Good upgrade over my Xbox one S. can see a difference in PQ.

This a great Blue Ray player with 4K. The picture is perfect and the remote is easy to use. The on-line help is easy to access also especially if you lack technical skills like me. This 4K DVD player will dazzle you.

I'll make this short and sweet, I bought this player on impulse when I bought my new Samsung Q80 TV and Q80 Soundbar since I wanted to stay within the same-brand family. After more careful research and thought, I realized that a) this player was fairly old and didn't have all the latest technology and b) Samsung announced just recently that they were leaving the Blu-ray player business much as Oppo did a couple of years ago. So, I returned it for the new Sony X800M2 which has just been released within the last month and strikes a really nice balance between price and performance. Spend a little more and you could also have the Panasonic 840 but it was too much $ for my needs.

Picture quality is amazing, blu rays look that much better.
