Set up was so simple and easy. Hooked up using an optical cable, plugged in and followed setup to hook to Wifi, logged into my Samsung account and it set itself up... I can control using the remote, buttons on device or the Samsung Smart Things app... Highly reccomend

There is no light on the machine to tell you if it is on. I have to push the power button and then push the open/retract to see if I remembered to turn it off when I used it last. Plays very well and I have no complaints about the quality of the picture. Maybe I'm being petty but I think that Samsung could have put a light in it when the power button is pushed on

Awesome 4K player

This new generation is much better with superior features and quieter. Is going to be enjoyable to go back and watch many of my movies on 4K. I have started a collection of 4K movies just as I have of blu rays.

I was never a big Samsung fan and stumbled upon their tv which led me to their system which includes a Samsung soundbar. This player costs a few dollars more but is one model down from their latest model. It has just enough features and melds into our system perfectly.

Glad I Updated My Player!

What a HUGE difference! Crisp, clear picture and sound. Remote Is easy to operate for the elderly’s use in the household.
