To have great video quality and is pretty fast on top of that. It also does a good job of making older DVDs look pretty good on my new TV as well. I would recommend this player, especially if you have an older model tv that does not have access to current streaming apps.

It’s better and easier to use than our older model smart tv. The apps we use the most are Netflix and pandora, but YouTube and many others are also available. The DVD player does what it is supposed to do and is high quality.

Ultra High Definition is Definitely a Difference
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While hesitant to jump on the Ultra High Definition DVD bandwagon initially, I must admit there is a visible difference in the quality of video through this device for both streaming as well as of course, UHD played on DVD. In general, it easily integrates with my other Samsung equipment and I am very happy with the quality of video.

This M8500 is a perfect match and flawlessly intergrated with my new tv. I am extremely happy with this player and would highly recommend it to anyone who is upgrading to a new QLED tv get an awesome 4K Blu-ray player to go with it.

This will play all my standard DVDS and Blue-rays that I own and is a NOT 3D player just to be clear. There are apps for streaming at your liking . Is a final match with our 4K 43" Samsung HDTV. Easy setup .

Good Blu ray player

He added it to my universal remote to make things easy. It works perfectly playing DVD's and CD's. Sound and picture are very good. I also use it to play Netflix and Prime. Have not had any problems with it..so I am happy..
