Bought this to replace an older model. Love the clean interface and ease of use. The controller is a bit sensitive and will take some getting used to, but I do like its smaller and sleek design. Picture quality looks great and it was a cinch to set-up

This is my first 4k UHD DVD player and it is amazing. You can really tell the difference from just a blu-ray player. All the features that come with it are really slick hooking up with our Samsung TV and soundbar. It has completed our home entertainment center.

I reviewed several of the top 4K Blu-ray players on the market. They were all around $300 or more. This M8500 Samsung had all the features of the more expensive models and was on sale for $179.99 so I couldn't pass it up. Glad I purchased it.

This is the second one of these I have purchased . I purchased one for the TV in my living room and now purchased this one for the TV in my master bedroom. Obviously I am very pleased with this player. Works great & is easy to use.

I've chose to get one of this over the cheap one to get the quality and definition that it comes on blue ray movies, and I have no complaints about it. Using this in conjunction with a 4k tv, a good sound system and good HDMI cables and you're good to go.

Admittedly, I probably would not have purchased this had I not gotten it at Black Friday pricing. It works fantastic with my Samsung TV. The remote takes a little getting used to but is fine. Only complaint I would have is the front buttons are a little hard to see when room isn't bright.

Bought to replace a sony Blu-ray player. Picture quality is awesome, processing speed is not that great. Picture size seems to be mostly in letterbox even if set to fullscreen. Easy to set up out of the box. I have a Samsumg Qled q7 tv but doesnt recognize the blu ray player. Seems to be a issue with any Samsung but overall decent for the price.

I've been very satisfied with this M8500 from Samsung. It delivers quick responses, and crisp remote pictures. This player has never erred in any fashion, and delivers excellent performance. Can't go wrong with this one! Thanks Samsung & Best Buy..!

Great table for laptop and the cooling fan works good. Great as a writing table too.

This DVD player is replacing an older Sony blu Ray. The picture is great and the response time for the smart functions is worth it. I have added this to my Samsung QLed Tv, and it pairs perfectly. One remote and I am a happy person again.

Have had this unit for a month or so now. Plays well and setup was easy enough. The picture and sound are just great. I'm playing it on a Samsung 72" with Samsung sound bar with woofer external speaker. It's as good as I was hoping for.

This was an upgrade from a 10 year old Samsung Blu Ray player that just wore out. It took 5 minutes to hook it up and another 5 to program it. Works great. Highly recommended.

Beautiful looking blu ray player, very nicely built, and plays all kinds of discs.

So far no hiccups on 4k disc and works like a champ with my Samsung 4K 3D 65" TV.

Everything is setup and ready to go! I was a little worried because when I initially set up the DVD player the remote didn't work. The batteries that came with this DVD player were dead. That's what you get sometimes though. Otherwise I've had no issues.

I recently upgraded my old Blu Ray player (1st gen) to this player and am very satisfied! The speed and graphics are far superior. The player immediately recognized my Samsung 4K TV, making pairing and controls seamless. Excellent product!

I have been a long term user of Samsung products and this is the best DVD player.
