I only have a few 4k videos but what I have watched so far has had great picture quality. The startup time is reasonable and the remote is pretty intuitive.

I bought the Samsung - UBD-M8500 Streaming 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player to go with my Samsung 4K TV. The picture quality when playing 4K blue rays is awesome.

Great unit especially compared to the some of the other brands at this price point. We watch a lot of movies and this has not disappointed!!!

This player is very simple to operate and delivers that 4K sound. The picture is magnified with clarity and movie like quality that makes you feel you are at the theater . This is my second purchase because I am well pleased with performance.

I am so impressed with how different 4K player is from a regular DVD player - it’s like watching a soap opera when you watch movies! Excellent buy!

Overall, the player is really nice, with great picture quality and functionality. Goes great with my Samsung QLED tv. Only issue is that the disc ejection part seems rather cheap (I’ve had Samsung blu Ray before and this hasn’t changed over the years)

The player has worked well for all of the disks I have played thus far. I haven't used or configured any of the built in apps as of yet because all of those functions are available on the Samsung TV I bought to use with this.
