When it worked, it was great.

Then I plugged it in and the remote wouldn’t work. Had to unplug it and plug it back in. Then I was able to use it. Until the next time it froze up. This happened Several times the first week I had it. Not a good predictor of future quality. So I returned it. I also read that Samsung isn’t making blu ray players anymore. Bought a Sony, it works great.

Easy to Set Up

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Blu-ray player performs very well but the remote is a piece of junk where the buttons collapsed and it became unfunctional which makes the Blu-ray player itself basically useless since it lacks a control panel with full functions and the Samsung TV remote that it is paired to does not have the complete functionality that the remote to the Blu-ray player has which becomes especially important when you are playing CDs
