I purchased this unit to stream video at a home I was renting for a month. Could not be happier with the ease of setup and the quality of the picture. The Samsung menu system was not complicated and I had our favorite shows running in just a few minutes. The remote was also easy to use and when using this unit with a Samsung TV it is even more seamless. The box is relatively small and light with a 'handsome' appearance due to its finish and curved design.

I wanted to get this model as it’s the direct one for my 4K Samsung when I got the TV but the price was to high. Black Friday sales came through and I couldn’t help myself and purchased it. Completes my entertainment center

Install was easy and set-up simple. As tech evolves connectivity to older devices goes away. This DVD/Blue Ray player only has HDMI outputs which was fine to connect to the TV but my older Samsung DVD/Blue Ray player also had jacks for me to run audio to my stereo receiver. I guess it is time to upgrade more of my electronics.

Overall the picture quality when playing 4K ultra Blueray discs is excellent. I've only played to movies so far, and was quite impressed with the difference in picture from standard Blueray discs. My only negative is the menu screen. Seems a bit more complicated, requiring more steps than previous Blueray players I've owned.

Bought this 4k player after purchasing a Samsung 4k TV. Well worth it. Got a great deal on Black Friday. This particular model connects to internet via WiFi which is nice because it eliminates another cord to plug in.

I have owned a few 4K players but this is by far the best 4K player on the market. The picture quality is vivid and amazing. No other player comes close in every category. I highly recommend this 4K player to everyone.

Bought this with new 4K TV, great pairing! Also plays non-4K DVDs and we are satisfied with all aspects of this player.

With this 4k DVD player, I'm able to get the best picture from my Samsung QLED curved TV. I also purchased the best Soundba that Samsung makes and the whole system is Samsung so they all work with one remote control. The quality is very good. The DVD player is fast and even upscales regular Blueray movies that are not 4k to make them look better.

I settled on this Samsung player after researching and reading a few hundred reviews on half a dozen various makes and models. This device had the highest average 4.5 star rating for price, quality, easy set-up and performance. So far this Samsung player has met or exceeded expectations The High Dynamic Range (HDR) is a noticeable advanced feature from an older player. Also really like the DVD Up-Converter via HDMI interface feature for watching classic 60's and 70's TV westerns and police series collections. The enhanced pixel quality is noticeable and adds a great deal of video detail to these otherwise flat dimensional series. I didn't think I'd like the curved contour of this unit, but it's one of the other features that adds unique appeal to the Samsung model. The remote control is very sleek and almost too small, but I like the simplicity that offers only those needed features unlike most other remotes having dozens of extra useless buttons. I also bought this player on sale $100 less than the standard price making this a good buy for the money. Oh, did I mention easy set-up? Yes, very easy out-of-the-box plug-n-play experience with a compatible Samsung HDMI TV. Easy WiFi set-up with your password handy connection in a few seconds. Being a cord-cutter, I only use this Samsung to play DVD and Blu-Ray and WiFi YouTube so not sure about cable TV performance. Overall this is a fine player that performs above expectations offering an alternative to cable TV and one that I highly recommend for all of the aforementioned reasons. Say goodbye to cable TV and hello to Blu-Ray & DVD....

Has all the greatest features at a great price. It was easy to hook up and works well with my HD tv.

After buying an Ultra 4k TV, needed a new Blu-ray player. Read the reviews and took a chance. It is awesome! Vivid picture and excellent player! So glad I purchased! Even regular DVD's look fabulous!!!

This player is a perfect match for my Samsung 4K UHD TV and my 4K movie discs. I've waited for this year's Black Friday and luckily I got it at very affordable price. Video quality is excellent.

The quality of the DVD's from this player really shows video quality which makes movie night so amazing. From set up of the player to using it daily it could not be easier. I have read that this unit is not going to be sold in the future. Makes it even easier to recommend if open box or refurbished unit do not hesitate purchasing. Our family has no regrets.

Basically plug and play with your Samsung TV. I have a One Box with my new Samsung 4K Smart TV and I just connected the HMDI cable to the box and the TV and box had a talk with each other, I guess, and wah lah.. the TV treats the DVD player just like any other app. Seamless and easy and my Blu-Ray discs have never looked better. And I really liked I waited a week and got it on sale. :)

The Samsung steaming 4k ultra Wi-Fi built in Blu-ray player I purchased was a very good choice. I was not sure what to purchase, so the sales associate helped me make my decision.

We upgraded from an old CD/DVD player to this Blue Ray player....and both my husband and I are so impressed. Our universal remote was set up to work through this blue ray player to control our entire home entertainment system. The picture is off the charts and the ease of use is so much more that I ever dreamed it could be. Even our old DVD's look so much better! Now I can really enjoy watching them all over again!
