    WE BOUGHT THIS DVD PLAYER FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT. ACTUALLY WE BOUGHT TWO OF THEM FOR GIFTS. BOTH PEOPLE WHO RECEIVED THEM WERE DELIGHTED WITH THEM.

    The quality and performance of this DVD player is very good considering the cost. The only negative I have found to date is that there is no ON/OFF light that lets you know if it is still on. You have to call up the on screen menu to make sure it is off when you are finished.

    Right from the start I had issues with this player. I would have to hit the power button several times before anything would come on the screen. There is no power light or anything to let you know if it's even trying to turn on or not. Was absolutely NOT impressed. Returned it to the store immediately.

    This Blu-Ray player is a good buy and performs very well. If I had any issue it would be with a few odd issues with the remote control and with no outward indicator(s) on the unit to confirm that power is on or off. Still, the unit has a lot of performance for the money.

    This unit was a great value. Not only was the unit on sale, but the cost of the blu-ray player was further reduced because the box was noticeably damaged and therefore reclassified as an 'open-box' item. I would have rated the unit as 'excellent' if there was a 'power indicator light' feature.
