Great blu Ray, only complaint there's no standby..

watching movies is good on this dvd player system.

Bought this for my elderly grandma. It is so simple for her to use. With few buttons and uses the same Samsung remote as her tv. Great product. Can also hook up apps with WiFi

This is the 4th Samsung BD-J5100/ZA DVD player I've bought from Best Buy. I highly recommend them. Even DVD's you make from iMovie play, along with flash drives. Amazing!

Love connecting Samsung products to others. The quick recognition of the device is worth everything. Just make sure you get a high grade HDMI cable or this device will not read on the tv.

For a Blue Ray it is well worth the price I paid for it. I have had no issues with the device at all! The set up was real easy also.

I got this for my stepdad and it works great playing avi and mkv type videos. Burned a couple of videos on a single blank blu-ray and its simple for him to select any movie and play.

Wonderfully compact and easy to set up. Works with both Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as reads MKV files from external drives like a pro. Samsung makes it reliable.

Works as advertised. Easy setup. Plays all DVDs. I bought a switch as I needed an extra HDMI port. I also needed an HDMI cable but already had an extra. Great price and timely delivery.

I just wanted a simple player, and I read that some other brands get stuck in a locked state, but I found that the samsung brand wasn't affected by that bug. So I'm happy.

Good product but it definitely lacks in areas... my biggest problem with it, is it has no power light. So you don’t know if it’s off or on unless you have the TV on or listen

Samsung is always a reliable brand. Have several electronics and they have lasted a life time. If you want just a blue ray player at a great price, this is the best one out there!

Bought this instead of a 6 disc cd changer because of the size. We use it for our outdoor speakers and have a limited space. Works perfect for us.

The player works great, the downside is that it is not WiFi ready, it needs to be connected directly to router.

I returned this product because I did not realize it needed HMDI port and cord and my TV's port is already in use. Also it did not have any front light to show it is on. Basically I need a more basic product.

Don't let my 3 stars fool you. I gave it 3 stars just out of courtesy because it was MY fault that I did not notice that this player IS NOT WIFI. Never really hooked it up so I can't say its junk either.
