I had purchased this player previously and it lasted about three years with daily usage. I really like Samsung products and have enjoyed the features offered by this player. Highly recommended and easy setup

Plays with no issues. But I don't believe it has a power on light so I'm never sure if it's on when I'm not using it. Still trying to connect to my wifi but it could be my old router although the smart tv connected with little issue.

No complaints here. The installed apps are a great feature to the device. It's easy to use and the remote also works with my Samsung Tv that I didn't even have to configure. That was pretty cool. W

I'm a truck driver and use it for the road. It sits on a shelf in the back and gets subjected to countless hours of bubs and vibrations. Has not faltered one bit and gives excellent performance.

Great Blue Ray Player for the money. Only a few issues. 1) There is no indicator light to let you know if it is on or off. 2) No function buttons on the device, so don't lose the remote 3) Runs a little hot

Allows you to stream video on a regular TV. This model is not wireless. Great value for the price(bought on Sale).

I purchased this Blu Ray player to play a boxed set of DVDs. The DVDs looked horrible on my big screen HD tv. So I purchased this player and now they look great. From now on I won't buy DVDs but this worked out fine. I am very happy with this player.

I bought a Samsung blue ray player because I know samsung products are very reliable. The player works great and is so simple it`s just unbelievable. 2 buttons on front, 3 simple jacks on the back. The remote is moderate in size and easy to use. Thanks

I was looking for a second DVD player and when looking at the items available came across this one. I read up on the reviews and it looked good. Then it came on discount, so how could I not buy it! I do like the way it looks and operations are easy.

When I purchased this, I knew it was going to be paired to a Samsung 4K smart tv. So, my requirements were that I didn’t want to pay for wi-fi and streaming apps like Netflix, etc. which would have been redundant to the tv’s capabilities. The apps are there, but there’s no wi-fi capability, and the lower price reflects that. On the other hand, I wanted a player that was capable of “upscaling” the resolution of whatever dvd I was playing, and the BD-J5100 does a good job there. Working in concert with the 4K smart tv, regular dvd’s appear to be in hi-def 1080p, and HD-1080p dvd’s appear to be near 4K quality. No indicator lights or display on the front panel? Who cares… when you press the remote power button, the player’s menu/control screen appears instantly on the tv. When you’re done watching the dvd, press the button to eject the disc, press the power button on the remote, and it’s off. Bottom line – it fits perfectly with the rest of my video set-up, and does everything that I need without costing me extra for bells and whistles that I don’t need.

Great product. My only complaint is there is no power light or other displays on the surface, so If it's in a cabinet, it's hard to see what you're doing.

Good basic blu ray player. Easy hook up, met playback expectations. Thought of getting with Wi-Fi capability but some many of todays TV offer the feature it wasn't necessary, they are more convenient.

I am very happy with this purchase overall. I don't like that it does not have a power light or some kind of display to let you know that the power is on, but overall I am satisfied with the quality.

It's a nice player. It works better and starts movies faster than my last Samsung player. The only complaint I have is the lack of display. But for the price and quality I really shouldn't complain.

Traded out our old Sony for a newer model player. Only thing missing is the light to tell you it is on. Otherwise plays well, but have yet to use anything except for playing DVD's

I just needed a blu-ray/DVD player; however, I got much more than I had anticipated. Not only does it play my favorite movies, it also connects directly to my t.v. and router, which allows me to watch YouTube vids, and I can watch Netflix, or listen to Pandora, and control all of those with the remote that is provided! If you like everything at your fingertips, this is the model to purchase. Great product, comfortable price! You can even set-up other preferences for your own personalized experience!!

I love this Garmin. It is easy to configure and set up and easy to set the settings and find your recent and saved addresses, the best Garmin I have even had. I rely on this machine for my travel and work so much. Cant do without it for my work.

Plays both BlueRay and DVD which is awesome. Small and compact. easy to set up and use. A great value!

Very modestly priced! This player is worth every penny for someone looking for quality and ease! It's been a nice addition to my entertainment
