||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DVD/blu-ray players have certainly become a commodity purchase now, and there probably isnt much to differentiate one brand from another, but if you are looking for great value in a no-nonsense unit, that does everything you'd expect it to, i'd recommend this Samsung. no problems with setup or connecting to my 50" roku TV. bought a good quality HDMI cable to make sure i got the best input feed i could of course. no issues with this purchase at all. small, unobtrusive and does exactly what you'd expect it to.

Samsung - BD-J5100/ZA - Streaming Blu-ray Player -

The unit does not have any light, or maybe I just can't find it, when power on so it is hard to determine if it on or off. It is also a bit slow to react when using remote control and slow also when it comes to interface with the TV using HDMI cable as it takes like more than more 10 seconds to display the menu on the TV.
