Where's the Display?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to finally upgrade my first gen blu-ray player because it was having problems reading the discs, would not resume properly, start skipping, all kinds of items that couldn't be fixed by firmware, software, or lens cleaning. I didn't do a lot of research as I was looking at the 4k players (still new) but those were too expensive for the cost right now I decided to go with this Samsung. As soon as I got it out of the box and hooked up, I couldn't tell if it were on or not. There is no power light indicator, no timer on the front, no lights what so ever. I know this may be a nit for some but not knowing the power state for me is a bigger deal because I will go between sources without turning off. All in all, it works great, accessing the discs much faster but I just never know if it's on or off.

Great Bare Bones Blu-Ray
