Stripped down to what you need

All plastic shell with no display for the usual clock and other lcd info. No built in wifi either. But it starts up quickly and has a fast smooth and intuitive operating system. I use it for mostly streaming through apps such as vudu, Netflix and Amazon prime video. For a price far lower than the latest roku or Apple TV you get the most popular apps and on top of that it plays blurays. If you can get wired Internet to it you can't go wrong with with this

Reliable and easy to navigate

Samsung has delivered! It's easy to set up, has played well, and seems to be high-quality.

Decent for the cost

Still a nice player for the cost. My only complaint is it could use an LED light or something on the front to know it's actual powered on.
