This is a no frills blu ray player. I didn't need wireless because I have everything taken care of with my smart TV. I have had problems with my last Samsung player skipping, but not with this one. For under $60 I have no complaints

Very basic interface, it does take a bit for it to log into the internet. Netflix app clocks, it has frozen a couple of times and wouldn't turn on once (unplugging it for a few minutes fixed this). I have only owned it a month or two.

the picture quality was very good. remote was nicely laid out. however didn’t have wifi capability. only direct wired lan.

This Blu Ray player is inexpensive and if you don't need wifi this product is perfect. My router is next to my theater system so I was able to hard wire my ethernet cable and the internet features run super smooth. Only complaint is there is no light to tell if the player is turned on.

This DVD player seems to be much easier to use than our old one. Have used it only a couple of times, but the quality is very good.

Quality of film has been okay (I watch movies pretty rarely) but it's annoying to not be able to tell if it's on or off, especially because it's not very quickly responsive when you do something like open, etc. Was a good price, though.

I bought this player to play with my 3rd tv, which is not a 4K. This player runs really good. This price is much cheaper and it is working fine for me to play blue ray movies.

Does what its advertised to do. My wife got this for our bedroom and she uses it for watching blu ray moves. Discs work fine, we tested out netflix and it worked fine also.

Really like that it plays all our blu rays now ,only thing is that ,there is not a light so you know when the player is on or off

Using this in guest house and is working very well. Easy to use, no bells and whistles... good product for the price.

Easy to set up, works great, only wish it had the wifi. But for the price you can't go wrong.

I remember when Blu-Ray players were $250 and really huge, slow machines. Times have changed. Now they have BD-RAY players such as these, which not only load fast, but have an option to precache and load even faster at boot-up time. This is an awesome BD-RAY player, especially at the price. It is a "Smart device" so it can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable attached to your modem or router, to download firmware updates. It can play BD-RAYs, DVDs, and it has several smart apps including YouTube, Netflix, etc. It really is an amazing deal and I recommend those in the market for a device to consider this one.

I've owned this brand before in Blu-ray players. They've always worked well. Right now I don't see any exterior buttons to use instead of the remote. So, when I want to use the player, I have to use the remote to operate it. This isn't a problem at the moment.

Had to replace my Sony Bluray, and decided to give this model a try, since Samsung usually has a decent product. It did well at playing a disc. Also did an OK job of connecting to my home network via DLNA, although it seemed to take a long time to list the video files on my network server and then it seemed like it had to re-read the file list each time I accessed the server, so it sometimes took a long time to get to my video files. I liked the user interface which also allowed me to customize the main menu displayed apps (i.e., Netflix, Hulu, etc). The big problem I had was that I noticed that every time I had a disc in the player, but tried to play a file in another mode (i.e., DLNA Home Network, Internet, Streaming App) the whole unit would vibrate and make a very loud buzzing noise. In order to stop that noise you had to remove the disc from the player every time before using another mode. I returned the unit and exchanged it for another, hoping it was just a manufacturing defect. Well, the second one did exactly the same thing, so it seems like it may be a design flaw in this model. I wound up returning it and purchasing another Sony (which has actually been problem-free). If you can overlook the fact the you need to remove the discs before changing video modes, or if you don't use other video modes, this would be a good puchase for the price. If, however, you use the Bluray like most of us do, this particular unit might not be the way to go. Pay a little more for another unit. I would have some reservations about recommending this unit to everyone.

Bought this as our first Blu-ray player. Quality is good and the price was reasonable. Nice extras as well like access to netflix.

Purchased as a portable player for business travel. A great prices for the features. Built-in apps are appreciated and picture quality was as expected for blu-ray.

Once installed, the DVD works nicely. I have no problems with it; I just wish the DirecTV remote had a control for DVD players.

The unit plays great. But without a power indicator, you have to go to the TV and that connection to see whether the unit is on or not.

Nice upgrade to go with new HDTV. Economical and compact size. Easy to install. Needed to buy the additional cable to connect to TV
