THIS UNIT IS A GREAT WAY TO MAKE ANY FLAT PANEL TV A SMART TV. YOU CAN CONNECT THIS PLAYER TO YOUR WIFI NETWORK AND STREAM TO A TV THAT IS NOT A SMART TV. THIS IS A GREAT CHEAP ALTERNATIVE TO BUYING A SMART TV.

Fairly easy to set up. Remote is self explanatory and easy to figure out without looking at the instructions. The unit does not have an indicator light to show that it is on. The only way you really know is to open the tray.

Plays blu rays & dvd's perfectly. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because there isn't any sort of indicator light on the front panel to tell you if the power is on, etc. Other than that, does what it states, and looks great.

We bought to put in my husband's man cave. Nice price and so far works great. We love it for the online streaming it offers of Netflix and you tube to name a few, along with the blu Ray player. Great for the whole family.

The unit overall provides excellent quality and service - one thing that could be added is some sort of "ON-OFF" light - when you attempt to turn the unit completely off, there is really no way to tell that it is in fact OFF.

The Samsung - BD-J5700/ZA - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player, is an excellent choice for a no-frills, inexpensive DVD player with build in Wi-Fi. I use it daily, mostly streaming You Tube and it has performed well.

I like how compact this DVD player is, and it works great. The only thing I do not like is it does not have a light to tell you if it's on are off. Other than that I like.

The quality is great! Full high-definition when viewing apps like YouTube, Hulu, and Netflix. The only thing I would change about it, is I wish it had a display on the unit itself to let you know what's going on at a glance.

Once I use the player more often I could offer more feedback. There appears to be several options for use of the player, but I haven't used them yet. The price was right and the player is compact requiring little room.

love being able to play blue rays and stream videos. I am enjoying great picture quality on Netflix movies and TV series available. Thinking about dropping my satelite TV service and only watch movies from this device.

Good blue ray player I just wish it has more good apps to dowload, has wifi easy to use great for netflix! But overall im happy I selected this light blue ray player.

Easy to use, sleek exterior, and compact to fit all TV stands. Only gripe is that the buttons blend into the player, so you either guess where to place your finger or you need a light. Other than that, works very well.

When we finally got around to purchasing an HDMI cable (note: this is not included with the Blu Ray player!), set-up was a very easy and fairly quick. Navigating the menus and using the machine is simple. Plus, the picture quality was outstanding!

Samsung products don't disappoint. Works great and easy to manage, however, would have liked an indicator of power on (light). Still good player.

Easy to set up, works great, with solid output to the TV. The wi-fi streaming is a nice feature but I haven't used it yet, so can't evaluate it. As all the other reviews say, an LED on the front of the unit to show when it is on would be a plus but not worth the cost of moving up to a higher price machine.

SINCE OUR TV IS OVER 5 YRS OLD WE NEEDED A GOOD BLUE RAY TO BRING IN NETFLIX/ AND AMAZON PRIME. THIS BLU-RAY PLAYER WAS JUST RIGHT FOR THIS .EASY TO HOOK UP. QUICKLY TURNS ON AND PLAYS BLU-RAY DISC BEAUTIFULLY.

good bluray. very small so fits easily. connects well to my wifi. best of all (and contrary to 3 best buy salespeople) this bluray will screen mirror my other devices as well as my apple ipads to my NON smart tv.

I think this is a great buy. Nice and compact and I use it for DVDs and Netflix. It doesn't lag really either, it's fairly quick. My only thing is I wished I could tell if it's on when looking at the machine.

This product does exactly what it's supposed to, play Blu-Ray and DVD discs. In addition this, it also allows the buyer to access internet apps, such as Netflix and YouTube. It's extremely easy to set up, but it DOES NOT come with a HDMI cable.

Ok it's my first blu-ray player so I might be not really objective nor experienced to review this product, but frankly speaking I am happy with this product for its quality and the very cheap price. It matches perfectly my 55' SUHD 4K Samsung smart tv, with the same remote controller I can do everything.
